[Abstract]:George Ferry H.U. Doerig (George Frideric Handel), a great German composer in the end of the seventeenth century and the beginning of the eighteenth century, is an important figure in the history of European music. Like Bach of his time, in order to express the new ideas and contents of their time, he carried out tireless and arduous exploration of the music form and means of expression on the basis of inheriting the music creation achievements of the predecessors. It has made great achievements and laid a solid foundation for the development of music art in the later European Enlightenment period. In the era of Baroque and classical music, the art and teaching of vocal music were greatly developed. Many composers created a large number of works, and Italian vocal music teachers went abroad to teach singing skills. Make vocal singing techniques and vocal music works widely spread and popular throughout Europe. In the historical process of its development, many outstanding singers, vocal music teachers, voice experts, language experts and songwriters have made unremitting efforts. Through the development and evolution of hundreds of years and practice of singing art, it has formed a set of aesthetic traditions and concepts. Among the many composers, then, Handel was undoubtedly one of the most representative figures of his time. Although he was not the originator and founder of vocal art, his works accelerated the perfection of Bel Canto and made it peak. This paper analyzes Handel's contribution to the development of vocal music from three aspects. First, rich techniques and diverse styles of musical expression II. Analysis of Handel's selected operas and oratoriums. Third, in terms of mastering the singing skills of vocal music, The importance of studying Handel's vocal works. Conclusion: Handel's contribution to vocal music is not only because he is a musician with excellent creative skills. But also because vocal music art can be produced by him a variety of novel musical effects. Vocal music art is an important part of Handel's art life. His musical images, both in form and in depth, greatly surpass his predecessors and are a wonderful work in the history of vocal music. Handel's greatness and its historical significance lie mainly in his contribution to the immortal repertoire. His music grew old because he adopted techniques that had not yet been put into practice and which had become less important in the new style of the mid-eighteenth century. Compared with Bach's more strictly contrasting procedure, Handel emphasized melody and harmony, so he was able to relate to the fashion of that time. As a grand choral composer, he is unparalleled. He was a masterful contrast, not just in chorus, but in all the fields he touched.
