利盖蒂结构思维研究

【摘要】：本论文选择西方当今享有盛名的一位仍然健在的作曲家乔治·利盖蒂(Gy(?)rgy Ligeti,1923-)的音乐创作作为研究对象,具体内容涉及其结构思维观念的形成及其表现形式。 作为20世纪西方最重要的作曲家之一,利盖蒂无疑是值得人们特别关注的。这位出生于匈牙利的奥地利籍作曲家自上世纪50年代中期以来,一直以其大胆的创作理念和独特的技术手法影响着西方现代音乐创作的发展。从大型管弦乐作品《大气》(Atmosphères)中的微复调到为100只节拍器而作的《交响诗》(Poème symphonique)中的机械性节奏运动,从系列钢琴练习曲中复杂的交错节奏结构到《小提琴协奏曲》中超越平均律的实践,无一不体现出典型的“利盖蒂风格”。 本文之所以选择利盖蒂的结构思维作为研究对象,是因为结构思维构成了利盖蒂音乐创作中的一个核心问题。一方面,在利盖蒂的创作中始终表现出不同结构思维方式对音乐发展的主导作用,另一方面,一些独特的技术手段都是围绕着不同的结构思维而产生的。结构思维是作曲家对如何构成一首乐曲时所作的全面考虑,它包括对音乐延续过程方式的选择和对音乐最终结果形式的设定,而且这种思维的内容还应该能转化为相应的技术手段,并在音响上产生出与此相一致的效果。综观利盖蒂的创作,可以发现他的作品即具有在结构的形成过程与结果上常常“出人意料”的处理,但又总是充满着朴素的艺术价值,即既能表现出在乐曲的组织过程和结构形式上的精雕细琢、又能表达出“一目了然”的情感诉求,更为重要的是其音响虽常使人们的听觉神经感到刺激,但却经得起反复聆听。换句话说,他的作品常常能在构思的新颖、音响的独特以及给人以良好的听觉体验这三者之间找到最佳的结合点,而这一点恰恰是许多现代作曲家常常很难解决的问题。 利盖蒂结构思维的一个突出特点是它的创新性,这种创新思考来自于他对音乐语言“原创性”价值的强烈追求,和一个艺术家崇高的使命感。从利盖蒂所创作的作品来看,可以说他在每一个作品中都力图在音乐思维方式和写作技法两方面向前迈进一步,他反对重复别人或重复自己走过的道路。他曾经说:“自贝多芬以来,创新在音乐中就变得重要了。”。并且认为,到了20世纪,作曲家们更应该象当年的贝多芬、德彪西那样,要敢于走创新的道路,因为在今天的“在艺术创作中,原创性和新颖发挥着极其重要的作用。” 为了实现音乐语言上的“原创性”,利盖蒂不仅从音乐本身寻找突破口,而且还积极从音乐以外的其他学科中挖掘可以利用的创新因素。自20世纪50年代以来,利盖蒂就一直从绘画、文学以及哲学中不断地借鉴不同的结构思维方式,并把它们与音乐作品中的结构思维方式结合起来,从而拓展出了音乐对“幻觉空间”和“静态运动”的表现可能性。在音乐技法本身,利盖蒂同样在不断地寻找突破口,微复调、机械性节奏以及以突出音色为主的整体音响运动等技术手法,就是被利盖蒂从一些基本的技术中提炼出来的,并使它们转变成为特殊的技术,承担起了控制音乐作品结构的重要作用。 选择利盖蒂的结构思维作为研究重点,其目的就是试图对他的音乐创作从结构观念到结构技法这两个层面进行全面的分析,从而解释他在结构过程和结构形式上所采取的独特做法。由于在利盖蒂的音乐创作中,结构思维已经成为包含其创作内容的重要概念,因此,抓住了结构思维这个中心,就意味着抓住了研究利盖蒂音乐创作的关键问题。 本论文研究的主要范围包括:利盖蒂结构思维观念的形成与发展、其作品中所运用的主要结构方法、作品的结构形态特征、其结构实践对西方现代音乐创作发展的影响。所涉及的
