广西巴马瑶族民间舞蹈的叙事功能研究

【摘要】:本文选取了广西河池巴马瑶族自治县东山乡卡桥村巴根屯为田野考察点,该县的重大节日“祝著节”于2007年申获广西区非物质文化遗产传承基地,节日中的铜鼓舞和陀番舞,是巴马东山乡番瑶民间广为流传的舞蹈。每年农历五月二十九日是瑶年“祝著节”,为纪念番瑶创世始祖密洛陀的生日,番瑶族民会穿上节日盛装跳《陀番舞》和《丰收铜鼓舞》。本文以广西巴马瑶族自治县“祝著节”中的两个传统的代表性民间舞蹈为研究对象,结合田野考察,采用文献法、调查法、访谈法、理论分析法等研究方法,运用叙事学、符号学、美学等相关学科理论,从民族历史和民族文化的背景下,使艺术学中舞蹈艺术与叙事学相结合,以叙事学的视角看待、分析、解读民间舞蹈,把民间舞蹈看成一门民间的、无声的“语言”来分析,即从民间舞蹈的形态、动作、队形等舞蹈叙事话语符号层,民间舞蹈的舞句、图式、内部结构等舞蹈叙事话语的结构层,以及主题思想、文化内涵等舞蹈叙事话语功能层三个叙事层面由浅入深、由表及里、由外到内的进行辩证统一、相互作用、科学系统的分析,提出并详细阐述了“何为叙事性民间舞蹈”、“民间舞蹈如何叙事”、“民间舞蹈为何叙事”等三个层面的问题,使我们能够从根源把握民间舞蹈话语动作、话语结构及其语言背后所表达和传递的深层主题和文化蕴含,从而避免民间舞蹈的研究与民族文化“两张皮”现象,进而力求得出通过本文对民间舞蹈的叙事功能研究有助于更好地进行民间舞蹈的理解、复原、保护和传承的结论。本论文一共分五个部分。绪论,主要阐明本论题的选题缘由和意义、本论题的研究现状、研究的内容及方法;第一章,主要对本文所研究民间舞蹈所在的民间文化“整个系统”的范围在定义、特征、种类等进行划定,并进一步对叙事的界定、叙事学相关理论在舞蹈中的运用、民间舞蹈叙事性的界定等进行了探讨,并通过笔者在广西巴马实地采风的民间舞蹈中例证了广西巴马瑶族存在叙事性民间舞蹈,从而回答了“何为叙事性民间舞蹈”的问题,对本文之后研究民间舞蹈的叙事功能提供了明确的研究对象:第二章,首先对所研究民间舞蹈所在的“整个系统”从地域文化、布努瑶文化、节日文化、语言文化等进行了相关的叙事文化背景介绍,之后运用叙事学理论,对民间舞蹈中的祭祀仪式、形态符号等进行其本体叙事话语分析,对民间舞蹈中的如陀番歌谣和铜鼓乐等舞蹈音乐、女子的哈西和银项圈等舞蹈服饰、铜鼓和簸箕等舞蹈道具等进行其辅助叙事话语分析。从中总结出了民间舞蹈的叙事动作、叙事修辞等本体叙事话语特征,也就是舞蹈叙事话语的符号层和结构层,从而回答“民间舞蹈如何叙事”的问题;第三章,通过之前的论证总结出了巴马瑶族民间舞蹈的五个叙事功能特征作为研究成果,即叙事性民间舞蹈在民间的族群神话中寻找叙事文本、在仪式的时空背景下营造叙事环境、在舞蹈的语言动律中构建文化符号、在图式的程序套路中展开叙述结构、在独特的服饰道具中彰显内心表达等五种叙事话语特征。论证了其在中国美学思想和中国优秀传统文化中所体现的文化蕴含,从而阐述回答了“民间舞蹈为何叙事”的深层含义;最后结束语部分,通过运用叙事学分析民间舞蹈,对民间舞蹈叙事功能进行科学的、全面的挖掘、总结和提炼,从而得出有利于我们避免当前民间舞蹈研究中存在的舞蹈动作与舞蹈意义分离和舞蹈语言与民族文化分离的这一现象,有利于我们做好民间舞蹈的保护与传承的这一观点。对本文民间舞蹈的叙事功能进行了全面的、科学的概括和总结,表达了笔者对当前民间舞蹈研究中存在舞蹈动作与舞蹈意义分离和舞蹈语言与民族文化分离的现象,从而使得很多优秀的叙事性民间舞蹈只能在文字中看到,而实际却可能或已经消失,从而得出通过运用叙事学分析民间舞蹈,对民间舞蹈叙事功能的挖掘、总结和提炼,有利于我们“复原”、保护和传承民间舞蹈,弘扬民族文化和精神的这一观点。民间舞蹈作为民族文化本身是具有叙事功能的,本文民间舞蹈的叙事功能研究,是将民间舞蹈当作一门千年流传下来的“语言”来研究的。换言之,就是研究分析民间舞蹈这门语言是如何运用自己独特的、极具魅力的、不可替代的言语方式叙述关于本民族的故事的。然而,由于我们很长时期认为“舞蹈善于抒情而拙于叙事”使得我们忽视了其叙事性。所以,对民间舞蹈的叙事功能研究确有其必要性和紧迫性。
