【摘要】：本报告是作者在翻译美国著名作家Frank R. Stockton（法兰克·史塔顿）所著The Christmas Wreck（《圣诞船难》）的实践基础上完成的。该短篇小说的翻译是在导师指导下完成的。本报告以彼得·纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译理论作为指导，该理论为文学翻译在宏观上指明了方向，亦为译者实施不同的翻译策略提供了理论依据。本报告共有五章。第一章是任务描述，包括该任务的背景和文学翻译的标准；第二章为翻译过程描述，主要包括译前准备、翻译过程、以及翻译过程中遇到的困难；第三章引入彼得·纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译理论，并分析其理论及实践价值；第四章，报告的主体部分，是案例分析。作者主要从词汇、句法和篇章三个层面分析了翻译中的典型案例，，以期阐释其如何在语义翻译和交际翻译理论指导下完成这项文学翻译任务；第五章结论部分，在此作者总结了完成这项文学翻译任务的得与失。
[Abstract]:This report is completed on the basis of the practice of the Christmas Wreck , which is translated by Frank R . Stockton , a famous writer in the United States . The translation of the novel is completed under the guidance of a mentor . The report is guided by the theory of Peter Newmark ' s semantic translation and communicative translation . The theory provides a theoretical basis for the translation of literary translation on the macro . Chapter Three introduces Peter Newmark ' s semantic translation and communicative translation theory and analyzes its theory and practice value . Chapter Three introduces the typical cases in translation from three aspects of vocabulary , syntax and text , and tries to explain how it can complete the translation task of this literary translation under the guidance of semantic translation and communicative translation theory .
