[Abstract]:In recent years, intersubjectivity has become a hot topic in translation studies. This paper attempts to apply the theory of intersubjectivity to a specific translation activity-novel dialogue translation. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three chapters. The introduction introduces the author's intention to choose this subject and the basic framework of the article. The first chapter briefly reviews the theory of intersubjectivity in western philosophy. As we all know, intersubjectivity was first put forward by Husserl in phenomenology and developed in Heidegger's existentialism and Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics. Finally, Habermas's theory of communicative action is more perfect. The development of inter-subjectivity has experienced three different stages, and its emphasis is also different. People often express it as the intersubjectivity of epistemology in Husserl's phenomenology. Heidegger existentialism and Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics of ontology intersubjectivity and Habermas' communicative action theory of social intersubjectivity. Chapter two attempts to apply the theory of intersubjectivity in philosophy to translation studies. By examining the history of translation studies, it is not difficult to find that there are three paradigms in translation studies. Moreover, the research direction of each paradigm is from one center to another. The focus of researchers is on a certain subject element in translation. Under the light of the theory of intersubjectivity, we can define the subject of translation as the translator. The author, the reader, and the characters in the text. The intersubjectivity represents the interaction and influence among the interrelated subjects, and recognizes the subjectivity of each subject itself. On this basis, The interaction and dialogue between subjects can be investigated in a specific translation activity-novel dialogue translation. The third chapter studies the embodiment of intersubjectivity in the translation of fictional dialogue, which is often defined as the dialogue between characters and the monologue of characters. It can be found that many of these theories examine the translation of fictional dialogues from different angles, but they are not systematic and comprehensive. However, under the guidance of the theory of intersubjectivity, we can define the subject of fictional translation as the translator and the author. After understanding who is the subject of fictional dialogue translation, we can further study the interaction and dialogue among different subjects. It can be concluded that the subject of the translator and the subject of the author are intersubjectivity. The subjectivity of the translator and the reader as well as the subject of the translator and the character in the text can be reflected in the translation of the dialogue between the specific characters and the monologue of the characters. The conclusion points out that intersubjectivity is a necessary supplement to subjectivity and that all subjects in translation are in an equal position and should not overemphasize a certain subject. Intersubjectivity and intersubjectivity are interrelated and interdependent. The philosophical theory of intersubjectivity will help the study of dialogue translation in novels have a solid philosophical foundation and a comprehensive perspective. Therefore, we have every reason to hope that the theory of intersubjectivity can be applied to all branches of translation studies. Thus, our translation studies are more profound and rational.
