周作人文学翻译的路径选择

【摘要】：周作人作为中国现代文学翻译的核心人物,始终站在中国现代文学翻译的最前沿,引领中国现代文学翻译的发展方向,不断寻找适合中国历史境遇和文化语境的翻译方式。一方面,周作人遵守"直译"的文学翻译方式,将异域文学所讲述的地方知识、情感体验、精神价值、文学观念、审美方式等内容,以不加任何文学修辞的方式直接复制过来,使文学翻译呈现出单向度的文化主体性;另一方面,周作人又不断延伸和拓展"直译"的翻译范式,使"直译"向"意译"靠拢,在文学翻译过程中灌注时代的文化导向和个体的文学理想,将文学翻译演变为文化他性和文学自性相互冲突和交融的场域。周作人的文学翻译具有超越时代的特质,这种特质使中国现代文学在追寻现代性的过程中,呈现出开放性和收容性意识。
[Abstract]:As the core of modern Chinese literary translation, Zhou Zuoren always stands at the forefront of modern Chinese literary translation, leads the development direction of Chinese modern literary translation, and constantly seeks for translation methods suitable for Chinese historical circumstances and cultural context. On the one hand, Zhou Zuoren obeys the literary translation method of "literal translation", and directly replicates the local knowledge, emotional experience, spiritual value, literary concept, aesthetic way and so on described by foreign literature in a way that does not add any literary rhetoric. On the other hand, Zhou Zuoren extends and expands the translation paradigm of "literal translation" and makes "literal translation" close to "free translation". In the process of literary translation, the cultural orientation of the era and the individual literary ideal are instilled in the process of literary translation, which turns literary translation into a field in which the cultural otherness and the literary self-nature conflict and blend with each other. Zhou Zuoren's literary translation has the characteristic of surpassing the times, which makes the Chinese modern literature show an open and receptive consciousness in the process of pursuing modernity.
