小说对话的语用文体分析

【摘要】： 小说对话是小说中的人物在文学作品虚拟世界的交际过程中进行的对话，这种对话虽不完全等同于现实中的自然对话，但是却和自然对话有极大的相似性。小说对话过程中，小说中的人物和现实中的人物一样，都在不断地选择话语，进行商讨，，最后实现交际目的。随着语用学与文体学的发展，两门学科的交叉研究不断深入，小说对话的文体分析作为文体研究的一部分，也更加注重语用因素在小说会话开展过程中发挥的作用。本文以Jef Verschueren提出的语用顺应论为基础，对小说中的对话进行文体分析。语用顺应论认为，在对话过程中，交际双方不断地进行言语选择及言语之外因素的选择，每一种选择，无论是有意识的，还是潜意识的，都会产生特定的文体效果和语境意义。论文首先回顾了话语文体学和功能文体学对小说会话的分析，并简要指出了这两种分析方法的优点和缺点，进而在语用顺应论的基础上提出了用语用文体学的方法分析小说对话。分析过程主要涉及到在小说对话动态的交际过程中，不同的词汇、句子、言语行为以及会话建构原则的选择会产生相应的文体效果。本文侧重分析这些选择是如何受各种语境的影响产生特定的文体效果。论文从多本英语小说中选择性的筛选了部分对话进行实例分析。采用语用文体学的方法分析小说中的会话，读者可以更深层次地理解小说人物形象的个性、故事情节的动态发展以及小说作者的写作技巧。根据具体的社会语用背景阐释小说对话或文学作品有助于更好地发现和了解小说创作的特定历史阶段的社会文化及其当时的意识状态。这种语用文体的方法由于是属于跨学科的研究方式，也具有其理论意义，对文学批评理论、文体学、语用学和话语分析都有所启示。
[Abstract]:The fictional dialogue is the dialogue between the characters in the fictional world of literature. Although this kind of dialogue is not completely equal to the natural dialogue in reality, it has great similarity with the natural dialogue. In the process of novel dialogue, the characters in the novel, like the characters in reality, are constantly choosing words, discussing, and finally realizing the communicative purpose. With the development of pragmatics and stylistics, the cross-study of the two subjects is deepening. As a part of the stylistic study, the stylistic analysis of the novel dialogue also pays more attention to the role of pragmatic factors in the process of the development of the novel conversation. Based on the pragmatic adaptation theory proposed by Jef Verschueren, this paper makes a stylistic analysis of the dialogue in the novel. According to pragmatic adaptation Theory, in the process of dialogue, both sides of the communication continue to choose speech and other factors. Each choice, whether conscious or subconscious, will produce specific stylistic effects and contextual meanings. Firstly, the thesis reviews the analysis of discourse stylistics and functional stylistics to the novel conversation, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of these two analytical methods. On the basis of pragmatic adaptation theory, this paper puts forward a stylistic approach to the analysis of novel dialogue. The analysis mainly involves that the choice of different words, sentences, speech acts and conversational construction principles will produce corresponding stylistic effects in the dynamic communication process of the novel dialogue. This paper focuses on how these choices are influenced by various contexts to produce specific stylistic effects. In this paper, some dialogues are selectively selected from many English novels for example analysis. Using pragmatic stylistics to analyze the conversation in the novel, readers can understand the character of the characters, the dynamic development of the story plot and the writers' writing skills. It is helpful to better discover and understand the social culture of the specific historical stage of the novel creation and the state of consciousness at that time by explaining the dialogue or literary works of the novel according to the specific social pragmatic background. The method of pragmatic style is of theoretical significance because it is an interdisciplinary research method, and has some implications for literary criticism theory, stylistics, pragmatics and discourse analysis.
