文学模糊:经历的缺失

【摘要】:模糊性是自然语言的本质特征之一,早已引起了人们的注意。但是直到最近,模糊才得到系统研究。1965年,美国科学家扎德发表了著名论文《模糊集合》,对很多学科影响深远,也给系统研究语言模糊提供了理论基础。近年来有关模糊语言学的专著和数量很多,而且,更多的模糊现象开始引起人们的注意。但是绝大多数的文献主要是描述性研究。虽然不同种类的语言模糊得到了广泛关注,对模糊成因的研究却一直很少,多数文献谈及模糊的成因时只是寥寥数语。与此同时,对于文学作品的阐释因人而异,也有不少语言学家引入读者反映理论来解释文学模糊,文学模糊被草率的看成了作者的有意创作,常使读者误入歧途。研究模糊语言学而忽视对模糊的成因这一基本问题的认真探讨,势必阻碍模糊语言学研究的深入,不能不说是一个缺陷。 因此,澄清模糊语言学中一些错误的观点,认真探究模糊的成因很有必要。认知科学尤其是与辩证唯物主义相结合的认知科学为人们研究语言提供了新的视角和理念,对研究语言模糊性的成因同样大有裨益。 本文的创新点即在于运用辩证唯物主义认识论,探讨文学模糊的成因。通过运用辩证唯物主义认识论,文章得出文学模糊在很大程度上产生于读者对文学作品作者经历知识的缺失的结论,从而主张译者在文学翻译当中妥善处理文学模糊。既然语言的模糊性是所有自然语言的本质特征,那么译者就应该在翻译当中力求做到与原作的模糊对等,如果因为目的语和源语的差异,,必须要消解原作的模糊,那么译者就要认真研究原作者的生平经历,以免错误的消解原作的模糊,误导译文读者。 本文分以下四个部分展开讨论: 第一部分简要说明作为语言本质之一的模糊性的大量存在,简述国内外语言学家们对模糊的定义、特征和语言不同层次模糊性的探究。并且汇总了国内外语言学家们对语言模糊性产生原因的零星阐述,指出对文学模糊成因探究的不足。 第二部分是论文的主体部分。首先,指出文学模糊性开始被看成文学未定性,得到了读者反映文学批评理论的纵深阐述,从而被看成是作者的刻意创造。但是“一千个读者,一千个哈姆雷特”实在不能让人理解成作者的追求。文章接下来引入认
[Abstract]:Fuzziness is one of the essential features of natural language and has attracted people's attention. But only recently has fuzzy been studied systematically. In 1965, American scientist Zadeh published his famous paper "Fuzzy set", which has a profound influence on many disciplines and provides a theoretical basis for the systematic study of linguistic ambiguity. In recent years, there are a lot of monographs and numbers on fuzzy linguistics, and more fuzzy phenomena are beginning to attract people's attention. But most of the literature is mainly descriptive research. Although different kinds of linguistic vagueness have been paid much attention to, the research on the causes of vagueness has been few and far between. Most of the literatures talk about the causes of fuzziness only a few words. At the same time, the interpretation of literary works varies from person to person, and many linguists introduce the theory of reader's reflection to explain the ambiguity of literature, which is recklessly regarded as the author's intentional creation, which often leads the reader astray. To study fuzzy linguistics without paying attention to the basic problem of the cause of vagueness is bound to hinder the further study of fuzzy linguistics and it cannot be said to be a defect. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify some wrong views in fuzzy linguistics and explore the causes of vagueness. Cognitive science, especially the cognitive science combined with dialectical materialism, provides a new perspective and idea for people to study language, and is also beneficial to the study of the causes of language fuzziness. The innovation of this paper lies in the use of dialectical materialism epistemology to explore the causes of literary ambiguity. Through the application of dialectical materialism epistemology, this paper draws a conclusion that literary fuzziness to a great extent results from the reader's lack of knowledge about the author's experience in literary works, and thus advocates the translator to deal with literary ambiguity properly in literary translation. Since the fuzziness of the language is the essential feature of all natural languages, the translator should strive to achieve a fuzzy equivalence with the original in translation. If the target language is different from the source language, the ambiguity of the original text must be eliminated. The translator should carefully study the author's life experience so as not to wrongly dispel the ambiguity of the original and mislead the target reader. This paper is divided into four parts: the first part briefly explains the existence of fuzziness as one of the essence of language. This paper briefly discusses the definitions, features and different levels of fuzziness of language by linguists at home and abroad. And summarizes the domestic and foreign linguists to the language fuzziness produces the reason sporadic elaboration, pointed out to the literature fuzzy origin research insufficiency. The second part is the main part of the thesis. First of all, it is pointed out that the fuzziness of literature is beginning to be regarded as the uncertainty of literature, and it has been expounded in depth by the readers to reflect the theory of literary criticism, thus it is regarded as the author's deliberate creation. But a thousand readers, a thousand Hamlets really cannot be understood as the author's pursuit. The article next introduces recognition
