【摘要】：从认知文体学视角探讨翻译问题,尤其是文学翻译,是翻译界近年来新兴的研究方向。20世纪70年代以后,西方译学发生多次语言学和文化转向,使得语言本体和语境备受关注。90年代后,西方翻译界又呈现出了跨学科的研究趋势及多元化的视角。在此背景下,认知文体学顺应了翻译学发展的潮流,并且为翻译理论研究和翻译实践指导开辟了全新的路径。认知文体学是一门结合了语言学、文体学、认知科学以及人体心理机制等知识的综合性学派。它既继承了传统语言学和文体学的主要观点,又在心理因素的切入点上另辟蹊径。它的核心主张是通过读者的认知能力及反应来阅读和阐释文学作品。认知文体学的目的不是为了对文学作品产生新的解释,而是在认知的角度上阐述某种解读是如何产生的。将认知文体学应用于翻译研究,就是关注翻译中的认知机制和思维方式,系统且清楚地说明源语文本与不同语言的译者和读者之间的关系。认知文体学视角下的翻译最重要的一个特征就是它的重点在于运用认知结构分析源语文本中意义的构建,以及译语文本中意义的重建。另外,认知文体学关注两种文本背后作者、读者、译者以及评论者的思维,以及产生这些思维的社会、历史、文化等外部环境和个人经历和智力等内部因素。认知文体学常用的研究途径如前景化、概念隐喻、思维方式等在翻译实践中十分实用且有趣。不同文学形式各有独特的翻译特点,而在认知文体学视角下,对它们的分析效果显得格外新颖。本篇论文将对塞林格的小说、艾默生的散文以及狄金森的诗歌的不同汉译本进行比较与分析从中可以发现,认知文体学对于文学作品的英译汉有很强的适用性。从认知文体学视角探讨翻译问题,对于诸如“等值”、“忠实”等翻译界长期存在的一些具有争议性的议题,也有着建设性的价值。除此之外,本篇论文还从该视角着重探讨译者的身份和任务,以及译文的独立价值,旨在提高译者的身份和译文的地位。从认知文体学的角度看待这些问题,进一步丰富了翻译界的理论研究成果。
