【摘要】：幽默翻译常常被视为不可译性的典型。翻译幽默，就像翻译诗歌一样，会让译者陷入绝望的境地。幽默的不可译性往往来源于造成幽默效果的文化和语言因素。关于幽默的研究越来越多，而对幽默翻译的研究还十分欠缺。因此，将幽默与翻译研究结合在一起，具有重要的意义。 本文试图从斯珀波和威尔逊提出的关联理论和格特提出的关联翻译观来探讨幽默翻译。首先，，将案例分析中的幽默分为三类：通识幽默、文化幽默、语言幽默。其次，在关联理论和关联翻译观的框架下，分析译者在翻译以上三类幽默时时候遵循了关联原则。最后，本文得出的结论是关联理论和关联翻译观能够为幽默翻译提供有效的指导，《围城》的译者在大多数情况下也遵循了关联原则。
