【摘要】：言语反讽作为一种常用的修辞手段，具有丰富语言表达、突出人物形象、深化作品主题的功能。学者们从语义学、心理语言学、传统语用学等角度对言语反讽现象进行了广泛深入的研究。相比较而言，言语反讽的翻译却缺乏权威的理论指导，究其原因，是现有理论很少能同时满足言语反讽翻译在微观语言和宏观文化两个层面的需求。 《围城》是享誉文坛的艺术经典。作者钱钟书先生充分利用反讽揭露旧社会的弊病，暴露人们的缺点。小说自成书以来不乏研究者，却鲜有人涉足其中的反讽翻译。本文尝试以顺应论为理论指导，探讨英译本中言语反讽的翻译问题。 维索尔伦从认知、社会和文化综观的角度审视语用学，提出了非常具有解释力和应用价值的顺应论。该理论满足《围城》言语反讽翻译在微观语言和宏观文化两个层面的需求。根据顺应论，语言使用的过程是语言使用者为顺应交际需要不断做出选择的过程，而语言使用者之所以能做出选择源于语言本身具有的三个特性，即变异性、协商性和顺应性。顺应论的四个研究维度，语境关系顺应、结构客体顺应、动态顺应和顺应过程中的意识程度，契合语言使用过程中的语言、社会、文化和认知因素，，对研究言语反讽翻译具有理论指导作用。 本文从顺应论的角度研究译者在《围城》言语反讽翻译的过程中如何从微观语言和宏观文化两个层面对原文做出动态顺应，从而以顺应论为指导系统地描述言语反讽翻译的过程和效果。经研究发现：1）顺应论对言语反讽翻译具有理论指导作用，即言语反讽翻译的过程是译者不断做出语言选择的过程；2）在《围城》言语反讽翻译的过程中，译者对目的语的语言语境和交际语境中的各要素进行了合理顺应，因而成功再现了原文的讽刺风格；3）将顺应论引入言语反讽翻译，不仅拓宽了顺应论的适用范围,也为研究言语反讽翻译带来了诸多有益的启示。
