概念整合视角下《三体》英译本七空间模式研究

【摘要】：自20世纪90年代Fauconnier提出概念整合理论后,概念整合理论逐渐发展成为认识语言学研究的重要概念之一。概念整合理论由心理空间理论发展而来,如今已不再仅仅停留于语言学领域,还扩展到了多个领域。因其理论机制与翻译研究有着密切的联系,许多学者开始把概念整合理论应用于翻译研究。本文从译者的角度研究译者思维整合过程这一做法较少见。科幻小说作为一种特别的文学作品,其题材新颖,角度特殊,涉及知识范围广且内容复杂,对于译者的翻译水平则提出了更高的要求。优秀的科幻作品直接体现出译者的概念整合能力。本文从概念整合理论的视角出发,在其他学者研究成果的基础上,建构出七空间模式,试图从译者角度对科幻小说《三体》英译的过程进行研究,解析译者翻译时的认知加工过程。本文运用七空间对《三体》英译实例进行分析,探讨发现七空间模式能运用于其英译过程,并试图推广到其他同类科幻小说的翻译研究,为翻译研究作出新的尝试。
[Abstract]:Since Fauconnier put forward the theory of conceptual integration in 1990s, the theory of conceptual integration has gradually developed into one of the important concepts in cognitive linguistics. The theory of conceptual integration is developed from the theory of mental space, and now it is not only in the field of linguistics, but also in many fields. Since its theoretical mechanism is closely related to translation studies, many scholars begin to apply conceptual integration theory to translation studies. In this paper, it is rare to study the process of the integration of the translator's thinking from the perspective of the translator. As a special literary work, science fiction has a novel subject matter, a special angle, a wide range of knowledge and complex content, and puts forward higher requirements for the translator's translation level. Excellent sci-fi works directly reflect the translator's ability of conceptual integration. From the perspective of conceptual integration theory and on the basis of other scholars' research results, this paper constructs a seven-space model and attempts to study the process of translation of science fiction "three-body" from the perspective of the translator. To analyze the cognitive process in the translator's translation. This paper uses seven spaces to analyze the English translation of "three-body", and finds that the seven-space model can be applied to the translation process, and tries to extend it to the translation studies of other similar sci-fi novels in order to make a new attempt in translation studies.
