《情感机敏》翻译实践报告

【摘要】：翻译是两种语言之间的转换,是一种跨文化的交际活动。随着中国改革开放的不断深入,中国与其他国家之间的文化交流日渐频繁,翻译也变得越来越重要。小说在文学领域有着重要的地位,它通过塑造性格迥异的人物,向读者描绘丰富多彩的情节而成为了一种受读者欢迎的文体。因此,小说的翻译质量需要不断的提高。笔者选取苏珊·大卫的一篇心理学题材小说《情感机敏》进行翻译实践报告。苏珊·大卫是哈佛医学院的心理学专家。她以女性的视角,结合心理学知识,向读者倡导一种新的情感管理方法。由于生活在现代社会的人们,饱受着来自家庭,工作,生活的多方面压力,因此常常感到筋疲力尽,力不从心,对生活失去信心,无法过上想要的生活。作者在书中描写了自己对于人类情感的感受和理解,提出了多种方法来帮助读者调节自己的情感。通过对情感的管理,帮助读者感受到生活的美好。论文以纽马克的交际翻译理论为视角探索翻译过程中翻译策略的运用,并作相关报告。这篇报告有三个主要章节,第一章是对翻译项目的整体介绍,包括对作者和作品的介绍,以及翻译项目的简介。其中第二章的翻译过程和第三章的案例分析是整篇翻译报告的主体部分。第二章是对翻译过程的描述,包括译前的准备工作,整个翻译过程的描述,以及译后的校审工作。第三章是对不同的案例进行分析,在词法层面包括词义的正确选择,词类转换。在句法层面包括意译法,省略法,增译法以及语序转换法。第三章着重于翻译方法的使用。最后一部分就是整篇报告的系统性总结,总结了翻译过程中的收获和心得,为以后的翻译实践提供值得借鉴的经验。
[Abstract]:Translation is a conversion between two languages and a cross-cultural communicative activity. With the deepening of China's reform and opening up, cultural exchanges between China and other countries become more and more frequent and translation becomes more and more important. Novel plays an important role in the field of literature. It has become a popular style by portraying different characters and depicting rich and colorful plots to readers. Therefore, the translation quality of novels needs to be improved constantly. The author chooses Susan David's psychological novel emotional agility to report on translation practice. Susan David is a psychologist at Harvard Medical School. She advocates a new emotional management method for readers from the perspective of women and psychological knowledge. Because people living in modern society suffer from the pressure of family, work and life, they often feel exhausted, unable to do what they want, and unable to live the life they want. In the book, the author describes his feelings and understanding of human emotions, and proposes a variety of ways to help readers adjust their emotions. Through the emotion management, helps the reader to feel the life beautiful. This paper explores the application of translation strategies in the process of translation from the perspective of Newmark's communicative translation theory. There are three main chapters in this report. The first chapter is an overview of the translation project, including the author and the work, and the translation project. The second chapter is the translation process and the third chapter case analysis is the main part of the whole translation report. The second chapter describes the process of translation, including the preparatory work before translation, the whole process of translation, as well as the post-translation revision. The third chapter is the analysis of different cases, including the correct choice of lexical meaning in lexical level, part of speech conversion. Syntactic level includes free translation, ellipsis, incremental translation and word order conversion. The third chapter focuses on the use of translation methods. The last part is a systematic summary of the whole report, which summarizes the harvest and experience in the process of translation, and provides valuable experience for future translation practice.
