《自传：影与光》（节选）翻译项目报告

【摘要】：本文为一篇英译中翻译项目报告,翻译材料来源于美籍非裔作家米夫林·维斯塔·吉布斯所著《自传:影与光》中的部分章节。本翻译报告是基于《自传:影与光》这本书的前四个章节。笔者选取了其中的部分语句作为重点分析对象,在奈达的功能对等理论的指导下,运用多种翻译策略和方法,分析并解决了翻译中遇到的各类重难点问题。通过解决翻译过程中所遇到的重难点问题,笔者得到如下启示:翻译前,必须充分熟读原文,对翻译内容理解充分。其次,通过查阅资料,深入了解原文材料的背景知识,这样才能在最大程度上传递出原文作者的思想情感,减少在内容上产生的偏差;翻译时,要勤查字典,并利用网络以辅助翻译,让译文更加精准,极大限度地传达出原文的神韵;翻译完成后,做好译文的校对工作,让译文更加完善。此外,还要勤于思考,善于总结,将翻译过程中所遇到的问题进行归纳,为日后的翻译实践积累经验。
[Abstract]:This paper is a Chinese-English translation project report. The translation materials come from some chapters of the book Autobiography: Shadow and Light written by African-American writer Mifflin Vista Gibbs. This translation report is based on the first four chapters of the book Autobiography: Shadow and Light. Under the guidance of Functional Equivalence Theory, various translation strategies and methods are used to analyze and solve various difficult problems encountered in translation. By solving the problems encountered in the process of translation, the author draws the following enlightenment: before translation, the original text must be fully read, and the translation content must be fully understood. Understanding the background knowledge of the original material can convey the author's thoughts and feelings to the greatest extent and reduce the deviation in the content. When translating, we should consult the dictionary diligently and use the network to assist translation, so that the translation can be more accurate and convey the verve of the original to the greatest extent. In addition, we should be diligent in thinking, good at summarizing, and summarize the problems encountered in the process of translation, so as to accumulate experience for future translation practice.
