识解理论视阈下《道林·格雷的画像》环境描写汉译研究

作为唯美主义的代表人物,奥斯卡·王尔德用其独特的写作手法传达出特殊的美学特点。他的小说《道林·格雷的画像》于1891年首次出版,揭露了英国上流社会的生活现状,彰显出对青春貌美的看法,小说中的环境描写更是淋漓尽致。由于作者独特的思想,小说在一开始受到了强烈的抨击,但西方学者对该小说的研究并没有停止。国内对《道林·格雷的画像》也进行了一定的研究,该小说的汉译在20世纪80年代达到高潮。已有诸多学者对《道林·格雷的画像》中的文学特点和翻译现象进行研究,但是从识解理论的角度对该部作品中的环境描写进行探讨的文章较为薄弱。识解理论由兰盖克提出,指人们用不同的方式对同一客观情景进行刻画,关注认知主体对客观事物的体验。认知是识解理论中不可或缺的环节,翻译在本质上也是一种认知活动,离不开理解和表达,优秀的译文离不开译者的认知努力。本文选取《道林·格雷的画像》不同时期的两个译本作为研究文本,即1984年荣如德先生译本和2017年孙宜学先生译本,从兰盖克识解理论的四个维度:辖域和背景、视角、突显以及详略度,对这两个汉译本进行分析。本文研究二位译者在这些维度上进行了怎样的识解,出现了怎样的差异,认知主体的识解...
