　　本篇翻译报告是在翻译Wild Ride:Inside Uber’s Quest for World Domination第一章的基础上完成的,该书的主人公是优步CEO特拉维斯·卡兰尼克（Travis Kalanick）。该书原作者为美国财经杂志《财富》记者亚当·拉辛斯基,拉辛斯基的作品Inside Apple:How America’s Most Admired-and-Secretive-Company Really Works曾进入《纽约时报》的畅销书榜。本篇翻译报告主要由五个部分组成。在第一部分引入中,作者介绍了翻译项目的背景、意义及源文本的特点;作者在第二部分介绍了指导翻译项目进行的功能对等理论,及其提出者尤金·奈达;第三部分是翻译过程,向我们介绍了译前准备工作、翻译中遇到的难点及译后的校对;第四部分案例分析是本片翻译报告的重点,作者通过分析翻译项目中一些词汇和句子的翻译,来演绎在功能对等理论的指导下传记文本的翻译方法;在第五部分,作者对整个翻译项目做出总结,归纳出三条经验。人物传记,是一种纪实类文学体裁,不仅具有纪实性,还兼顾文学性,故为避免造成译文风格的偏差,译者选择功能对...
