林语堂Moment in Peking两个汉译本的人际功能比较研究

　　韩礼德的三大“元功能”,即语言的概念功能、人际功能和谋篇功能,被广泛应用于话语分析领域的研究。作为“林语堂三部曲”之一的《京华烟云》向来广受学界关注,但从人际功能角度对三大家族中人际关系的研究却鲜有人涉及。本文选取林语堂英文原著Moment in Peking及其最为广泛认可和研究的张振玉及郁飞的两个汉译本作为研究对象,拟以韩礼德系统功能语言学中的人际功能为框架,分别从呼语、语气及情态三个角度对比分析两个汉译本对原文人际意义的再现和传递,旨在探讨人际功能在翻译领域中的应用以丰富对林语堂经典小说Moment in Peking的汉译研究。通过对Moment in Peking两个汉译本在人际功能应用方面处理的对比研究,作者认为:一、人际功能中的呼语、语气及情态在原文和译文中都得到了充分运用。本文选取的两个译本对于翻译原文中人际功能所采取的不同处理方式直接导致了译本中人际功能呈现方面的差异。二、在对呼语的翻译处理方面,张译本总体上更能准确捕捉并忠实传递原文语言中的人际功能;而在对语气与情态的呈现方面,郁译本更能从深层次凸显原文作者意在表达的语气及情态意义。三、本文验证了韩礼德系统功能语言学...
