《追风筝的人》与《赎罪》中圣经原型之比较研究

《追风筝的人》是美籍阿富汗裔作家卡勒德·胡赛尼的处女作,2003年问世后大获成功,荣获各项新人奖。《赎罪》是英国当代作家伊恩·麦克尤恩最受欢迎的代表作,出版于2001年,并获同年度的布克奖提名。两部小说都讲述了主人公堕落后救赎的成长故事。目前对两部小说从各角度所做的研究十分丰富,如主题研究、叙事研究、社会学研究、伦理学研究、读者反映批评、心理分析、存在主义、后殖民主义、新历史主义等,但极少有学者从原型批评的角度对两部作品进行对比。就文学而言,原型指的是作品中反复变身再现的原始模版,它可能是人物,也可能是叙事情节,还可能是主题。《圣经》具有丰富的原型资源。借助于原型理论和《圣经》神话,本论文对比研究了两部作品在人物、情节和主题上对《圣经》原型的运用,以加深读者对这两部小说的理解。通过比较《追风筝的人》和《赎罪》,本论文探讨了两部小说中出现的源自《圣经》的相似人物和情节原型。这两部小说中的相似人物是以《圣经》人物原型为蓝本的,包括亚当或夏娃、该隐或犹大、替罪羊以及撒旦。其中,两部作品的主人公分别以亚当和该隐以及夏娃和犹大为原型,展现了人物从天真到罪恶的形象变化以揭示个体成长经历和性格的改变...
