索福克勒斯作品《俄狄浦斯王》中自我认识的主题

索福克勒斯的不朽名作《俄狄浦斯王》常被当作悲剧的典范，对这部作品的评论从古至今也不计其数。古时评论家多关注作者的剧作技巧，而现代的评论家却更多努力于发掘作品对写作的时代及当代的意义。中国三十年代翻译引入这部作品以来，《俄狄浦斯王》常被读解为命运的悲剧。本文作者提出这部悲剧并非描写人的意志与不可避免的命运的冲突，而是关于自我认识的悲剧。作者提出本剧是描写俄狄浦斯王在追求自我认识的过程中以及最后面对他所发现的关于自身的真理时的悲剧，并试图探讨该剧对现代人的意义。 第一章着重分析从古至今对该剧主要的几种评论，并试图证明该剧的主题是自我认识，而非命运与人的意志的冲突，也不是主人公的性格缺陷导致的悲剧，或一部毫无意义却只是技巧高超的戏剧作品。 第二章从《俄狄浦斯王》剧作本身展开分析，通过对主人公追求自我认识的描写，以及这个过程中与其他角色的冲突所展现的对比，在悲剧的产生中突出无知的可怕和主人公对真理不屈不挠的追求精神以及面对残酷的现实的勇气。 第三章讨论了索福克勒斯的其他作品，从而进一步认识了《俄》中该主题与剧作者其他作品的相关性，指出自我认识的主题的意义，即人虽生来有限，却应...
