《追逐春日》（节选）翻译报告

　　各国之间的文化交流很大程度上是靠文学作品的交流。译者作为中间人,要有高度的文学敏感性。散文这种文学形式同小说、戏剧等其他文学形式一样具有其独特的美感。本报告是散文集《追逐春日》（节选）的翻译报告。该书的作者是英国散文家、诗人爱德华·托马斯。该书语言优美,讲述了作者从伦敦出发,一路西行去寻找春天的旅行。作者以富有浪漫与想象色彩的语言展现他一路上的所见所闻,表达了作者热爱生活、崇尚自然本真的情感态度。虽然本书是一百年多年前的作品,但是优秀的作品是经得起时间的锤炼的,且现在国内还没有中文译本,中国读者对爱德华又知之甚少。译者选择翻译该书有以下几个目的:一、将这本优秀的文学作品介绍给中国的读者;二、让中国读者了解并喜欢爱德华·托马斯;三、提高译者自身的翻译水平和审美。本报告共分为四个部分。第一部分是翻译任务介绍,包含翻译背景与目的、作者与文本简介两部分。第二部分是翻译过程,译者在翻译之前准备了字典、地图等工具,然后开始阅读文本,之后再进行翻译,最后才是对草稿的分析和修正。译者也遇到了许多困难,比如地名、长难句和文化现象的翻译,及英汉语言差异带来的理解困难。译者在该类问题上分别采用了不同的解决办...
