【摘要】：西奥多·德莱塞(1871-1945)是美国二十世纪重要的作家之一,在世界文坛上和惠特曼、马克·吐温一样代表了美国文学的成就。《美国悲剧》被公认为德莱塞的代表作。作品生动地刻画了二十世纪一位美国青年克莱德·格里菲思悲剧的一生。小说从克莱德十二岁随贫困潦倒的父母沿街布道写起,继而描写其崇拜金钱、追求情欲、以致原本一位本性善良的孩子逐渐堕落,成为垄断资本统治的社会里的那套人生哲学和价值观念的俘虏。主人公克莱德为满足个人欲望,高攀大/一主的女儿桑德拉并阴谋杀害原来的情人一女工罗伯塔,最终其在二十三岁的年纪被送上了电椅。《美国悲剧》这部作品使德莱塞一举成名,越来越多的国内外学者对德莱塞本人及其作品从不同角度进行研究。目前,国内外对于《美国悲剧》的研究主要对作品中的自然主义和命运决定论的研究以及对美国社会的政治、经济、法律等各方面进行了揭露和批判等等。论文共分六章：第一章引言部分主要介绍作者、作品梗概、小说的创作背景及文献综述。第二章主要介绍了本文所使用的理论一弗洛伊德的人格结构理论(即本我、自我和超我)。第三章分析了主人公克莱德本我的原因及其具体体现。第四章主要分析了克莱德的本我、自我及超我之间的冲突及冲突的原因。第五章分析了克莱德处在不利局面下的自我防御机制。第六章是论文的结论部分。本文借助弗洛伊德心理分析理论,分析了《美国悲剧》这部作品中主人公克莱德的人格结构,从心理学角度探索了主人公悲剧的原因,不仅对作品有了更深刻全面的理解,同时对于我们思考和认识人的存在价值和人生意义具有一定的现实意义。
[Abstract]:Theodore Drexel (1871-1945) was one of the most important writers in the United States in 20th century, representing the achievements of American literature as much as Whitman and Mark Twain in the world. "American tragedy" is recognized as the masterpiece of Dreiser. It vividly depicts the tragic life of a young American man, Clyde Griffith, in 20th century. The novel goes down the street from Clyde's impoverished parents at the age of 12. The sermon writes. Then describes its worship of money, the pursuit of passion, so that the original nature of a good child gradually depraved. He became a captive of the philosophy and values of life in a society dominated by monopoly capital. Clyde, the protagonist, satisfied his personal desires. Kopan's daughter Sandra and conspiracy to kill a former lover, Roberta, was finally put in an electric chair at the age of 23. The American tragedy makes Dreiser famous. More and more scholars at home and abroad have studied Dreiser himself and his works from different angles. The study of American tragedy at home and abroad mainly studies naturalism and destiny determinism in the works, and exposes and criticizes the political, economic, legal and other aspects of American society. The thesis is divided into six chapters: the first chapter introduces the author and the outline of the works. The second chapter mainly introduces the theory used in this paper-Freud's theory of personality structure (I. E. ego). The third chapter analyzes the causes of the protagonist Clyde's id and its concrete embodiment. Chapter 4th mainly analyzes Clyde's id. Chapter 5th analyzes Clyde's self-defense mechanism in an unfavorable situation. Chapter 6th is the conclusion of the thesis. This paper analyzes the personality structure of Clyde, the protagonist in the American tragedy, and explores the causes of the hero's tragedy from a psychological point of view, which not only has a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the work. At the same time, it has certain practical significance for us to think and understand the value of human existence and the significance of life.
