从语境顺应论视角研究小说《理智与情感》中的人物语言

【摘要】：语言的使用离不开语境,语境一直是语言学中的一个重要的研究对象,经过许多国内外语言学家的研究后最终由比利时语言学家维索尔伦在其2000年出版的《语用学新解》一书中完善。本文以维索尔伦顺应理论中的语境顺应为依据来研究简·奥斯汀的《理智与情感》中的人物语言,旨在从语用学的一个新的视角一功能的视角来研究语言的运用。本文的中心论述分为两大部分：第一部分主要是对语境的国内外的研究状况简单的回顾以及对维索尔伦顺应理论尤其是语境顺应论进行具体的阐述。长期以来,语言学家对语境的研究停留在静态研究的阶段,即主要集中于对语境的定义、特点、分类等问题的探讨。随着研究的深入,语言学家们意识到语境产生于交际双方使用语言的过程中,语境研究逐步向动态研究转变。维索尔伦的语境顺应是顺应理论的主要内容,它与结构顺应,顺应的动态过程及顺应过程的意识凸显性构成了顺应理论的四个方面。根据顺应理论,使用语言的过程就是语言选择的过程,人类之所以能够对语言做出选择就在于语言本身具有变异性,协商性和顺应性,而这些选择应与交际过程中的语境相关因素相互适应,即与心理世界,社交世界和物理世界相顺应。本文根据这一理论框架,对《理智与情感》中的人物语言进行了研究。第二部分以语境顺应论为基础,对《理智与情感》中的人物语言进行了动态和较全面的分析,从而指出小说人物语言选择的过程就是动态地顺应语境的相关因素即心理世界,社交世界和物理世界的过程。小说中的人物做出语言选择总要与其心理世界相顺应,而心理世界包括人物的个性特征,动机,信念系统以及感情投入等,本文正是从这四个方面来分析人物的语言顺应其心理世界。与语言选择构成相互顺应的社会因素的范围是无限的,本文主要从社交世界中的权利和亲和,以及社会关系两个角度来研究小说中的人物语言的选择。语言的使用是在时间和空间中发生的,小说中的人物根据时空的不同,来选择不同的表达方式以达到交流的目的。本次研究具有一定的理论以及实践意义。从理论上说,维索尔伦的顺应理论为语境研究提供了一个全新的功能视角：从应用角度看,本文为解释文学作品中的人物语言提供了一个新视角,帮助读者更好地理解《理智与情感》的语言艺术进而更好地欣赏该作品。
[Abstract]:The use of language can not be separated from context. Context has always been an important research object in linguistics. After many studies by many linguists at home and abroad, it was finally perfected by Belgian linguist Versollen in his book New interpretation of Pragmatics published in 2000. This paper is based on the contextual adaptation in Visorun's adaptation theory. To study the language of characters in Jane Austen's "reason and emotion." The purpose of this paper is to study the use of language from a new perspective of pragmatics-a functional perspective. The central discussion of this paper is divided into two parts:. The first part is a brief review of the research situation at home and abroad and a detailed exposition of Vicollen's adaptation theory, especially contextual adaptation theory, for a long time. The linguists' study of context stays at the stage of static study, that is, it mainly focuses on the definition, characteristics, classification of context and so on. Linguists realize that context comes into being in the process of language use by both communicators and that contextual research gradually shifts to dynamic research. Vicollen's contextual adaptation is the main content of adaptation theory, which is related to structural adaptation. The dynamic process of adaptation and the awareness salience of adaptation process constitute four aspects of adaptation theory. According to adaptation theory, the process of using language is the process of language selection. The choice of language lies in the variability, negotiation and adaptability of language itself, and these choices should be adapted to the relevant factors of context in the process of communication, that is, to the psychological world. The social world and the physical world adapt to each other. According to this theoretical framework, this paper studies the characters' language in reason and emotion. The second part, based on contextual adaptation theory, makes a dynamic and comprehensive analysis of the characters' language in "reason and emotion", and points out that the process of choosing characters' language is to dynamically adapt to the relevant factor of context, that is, the psychological world. The process of the social world and the physical world. The characters in the novel always have to adapt to their psychological world when they make language choices. The psychological world includes the characters' personality characteristics, motivation, belief system and emotional input, etc. It is from these four aspects that this paper analyzes the characters' linguistic adaptation to their psychological world, and the range of social factors which constitute mutual adaptation with language selection is unlimited. This paper mainly focuses on the rights and affinities in the social world. The use of language occurs in time and space, and the characters in the novel choose different ways of expression to achieve the purpose of communication according to the difference of time and space. This study has some theoretical and practical significance. Theoretically speaking, Visorun's adaptation theory provides a new functional perspective for context research: from the perspective of application, This paper provides a new perspective for the interpretation of the language of characters in literary works and helps readers better understand the language art of "reason and emotion" and appreciate it better.
