【摘要】：莫里亚克是法国现代文坛上描写“没有上帝的人们的痛苦”的大师。在莫里亚克的宗教观念中，世界即是一个充满罪恶的“地狱”，而生活在这个“地狱”中的每个人都是有罪的。由此，“罪”、“忏悔”和“救赎”始终是莫里亚克创作中一个无法回避的主题。他描写了众多的罪人，比如《盘缠在一起的毒蛇》中年近古稀的路易、《黛莱丝·德斯盖鲁》中年轻漂亮的黛莱丝、《爱的荒漠》中的库雷热和雷蒙父子等，他们都在不知不觉中背弃了对上帝的信仰，残存内心的是对金钱的贪婪、对情欲的放纵、对他人的嫉妒。尽管他们罪恶累累，但“他们意识到自己有一个灵魂”，“知道什么是罪恶”，都对罪有深刻的痛苦体验。他们那种活于罪的状态的沉沦感、失去圣恩的无助感、与上帝及其子民的分离感都是罪恶带来的痛苦体验。然而，在基督教文化信念中，痛苦不是否定的，而是有着积极的意义，痛苦可以让人对自己有清醒的认识，认清自己的罪恶，从而在精神上向上帝靠拢，求得内心的平静和心灵的净化。由此，罪人意识到罪是悲凉与痛苦的来源，他们开始悔改自己的罪恶，在灵魂深处进行自我对话，摒弃罪恶，诚心忏悔。最终，上帝在他们布满雾霾的心灵上投射下一缕星光，为他们指明通向天国的道路，用伟大的爱拯救一个个罪恶的灵魂。莫里亚克小说中的基督教思想集中而有深度，在其作品中，莫里亚克深切关注人最本真、最原始的生命状态，从不回避人自身具有的每一种罪恶，将罪人们的心理过程详细展示给读者，告诉人们在上帝隐没、人们价值观普遍受到质疑的20世纪，没有上帝，生存将变得无法忍耐，而只有重新回归基督教才能够得到上帝爱的烛照。他在用一种伟大的文学创作服务于一个崇高的信仰，这是一个作家强烈的社会责任感，同时是一位天主教作家代表世人对上帝之爱的深切盼望。这种美好的愿望不仅仅是莫里亚克自己的祈盼，，更是整个西方社会的愿望。因此，研究莫里亚克小说中的基督教思想，不仅可以感受作家浓烈的人文关怀，更能够重温西方社会在上帝烛照下的精神信仰。
