《暮光之城》中女性哥特特征的新世界

【摘要】：自20世纪以来,女性哥特研究逐渐发展并蔚为壮观。女性哥特作为哥特文学体裁的一个独立分支,将女性视角引入了哥特文学中。作为一名女性文坛新秀,斯蒂芬妮·梅尔创作了《暮光之城》吸血鬼系列小说。这部小说自面世以来就广受大众的追捧和推崇。但作为一本通俗小说,也引起了各方面的争议。时至今日,国内外关于该作品的学术文章寥寥无几。有人认为该系列小说属于哥特小说,继承了传统哥特小说中的经典元素,在人物形象塑造和恐怖场景的描写方面展现出独特的哥特魅力。但本文作者认为这部系列小说具有明显的女性哥特特征。而国内外很少有人从女性哥特小说的视角对《暮光之城》进行完整的分析。因此本文作者试图从女性哥特小说的角度来解读《暮光之城》,进而研究它的独特内涵和价值。全文以女性哥特特点为突破口,正文由两个章节构成。第一章是对《暮光之城》的女性哥特特征的解读。主要从具有女性哥特特点的故事情节,主题,女主人公及氛围分析《暮光之城》。重点分析并阐述了女主人公在女性哥特小说中的多重角色：主导型,拯救型及恐惧性。第二章是用女性哥特特点之封闭空间意象及幸福结局来进一步解读其在《暮光之城》中的应用。从而更为深刻地认识到斯蒂芬妮·梅尔笔下创造的基于传统女性哥特的女主人公新形象,及来自于内心世界的封闭意象和真正意义上的幸福大结局。本文通过分析《暮光之城》四部曲中女性哥特特征,进而使我们对该系列小说及作者本身有一个更新,更为深刻的认识。从而反映出作者重视女性价值和女性意识,这是值得我们关注和研究的。
[Abstract]:Since the 20 th century, female Gothic studies have developed and become spectacular. Female Gothic, as an independent branch of Gothic literary genre, introduces the female perspective into Gothic literature. As a female literary rookie, Stephanie Mayer wrote the Twilight Vampire series. The novel has been popular with the public since it was published. However, as a popular novel, it also caused controversy in all aspects. Up to now, there are few academic articles about this work at home and abroad. Some people think that this series of novels belongs to Gothic novels, inherits the classic elements of traditional Gothic novels, and shows unique Gothic charm in the aspects of character portrayal and horror scene description. However, the author believes that this series of novels has obvious female Gothic characteristics. However, few people at home and abroad make a complete analysis of Twilight from the perspective of female Gothic novels. Therefore, the author tries to interpret Twilight from the perspective of female Gothic novels and study its unique connotation and value. The full text takes the female Gothic characteristic as the breakthrough, the text consists of two chapters. The first chapter is the interpretation of the female Gothic characteristics of Twilight. Analysis of Twilight from the storyline, theme, heroine and atmosphere with female Gothic characteristics. This paper analyzes and expounds the multiple roles of the heroine in the female Gothic novels: leading type, saving type and fear. The second chapter uses the closed space image and happy ending of female Gothic to further interpret its application in Twilight. Thus, the new image of the heroine based on the traditional female Gothic created by Stephanie Mayer, the closed image from the inner world and the happy ending in the real sense are more deeply recognized. Through the analysis of the female Gothic characteristics in the Twilight four-part, this paper makes us have a new and deeper understanding of the series and the author themselves. This reflects that the author attaches importance to the value and consciousness of women, which is worthy of our attention and research.
