【摘要】：《魔戒》系列是英国牛津大学教授托尔金的系列作品,自诞生以来,饱受争议、享誉全球,是当代奇幻文学一座至今无法逾越的丰碑。托尔金作品中对死亡问题的关注和描写,沿袭了西方文学一贯以来对生命本身及意义的探索,其死亡叙事凸显奇幻文学特征,特意设置了精灵和人类两个种族的差异,显示人性在生命有限性难题上的不同表现,同时通过塑造各种类型的人物形象,以及由此引发的道德、价值、善恶观念的冲突,来表达对人生存与死亡关系的思考。本文分为导论、正文、结语三个部分,导论概述托尔金创作的基本情况及其研究情况。正文分为三章：第一章以托尔金的奇幻文学理论及其运作展开分析,简要讨论托尔金理论及作品对奇幻文学发展的意义和价值,指明《魔戒》系列作品的最重要主题之一是死亡,分析死亡对托尔金成功营造第二世界的作用和意义。第二章围绕作品中的死亡叙事进行详细论述和分析,通过三个与死亡密切相关的故事,探讨不同的人物的死亡意识对其人生抉择的影响；第三章主要探讨北欧神话和托尔金深厚的天主教宗教信仰对《魔戒》系列中死亡叙事风格的影响,并从托尔金独特的概念“善灾”展开分析,指出这其中寄托着托尔金对人类未来的美好希望。最后的结语部分是对整篇论文的总结。
[Abstract]:The series of the Lord of the Rings is a series of works by Professor Tolkien of Oxford University in England. Since its birth, it has been controversial and well known all over the world. It is an insurmountable monument of contemporary fantasy literature. The attention and description of death in Tolkien's works follow the exploration of life itself and its meaning in western literature. The narrative of death highlights the characteristics of fantasy literature and sets up the differences between the elves and the human race. Showing the different manifestations of human nature in the difficult problem of limited life, and at the same time, by shaping various types of characters, and the resulting conflicts of moral, value, good and evil ideas, This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction summarizes the basic situation and research situation of Tolkien's creation. The text is divided into three chapters: the first chapter analyzes Tolkien's theory of fantasy literature and its operation, and discusses briefly the significance and value of Tolkien's theory and works to the development of fantasy literature. This paper points out that one of the most important themes of the Lord of the Rings series is death, and analyzes the role and significance of death in Tolkien's success in creating the second world. The second chapter discusses and analyzes the death narration in the works in detail, and discusses the influence of different characters' death consciousness on their life choice through three stories closely related to death; The third chapter mainly discusses the influence of Nordic mythology and Tolkien's deep Catholic religious belief on the narrative style of death in the series of the Lord of the Rings, and analyzes Tolkien's unique concept of "good disaster". It is pointed out that Tolkien's hope for the future of mankind lies in his hope. The last part of the conclusion is a summary of the whole paper.
