[Abstract]:This paper mainly discusses the ecological symbiosis of human nature and animal nature in Atwood's works. This paper first discusses the confusion between human nature and reason, expounds the author's irony to the supremacy of reason, and points out the deviation and imbalance of the values and ethics caused by the crazy worship of reason. Secondly, it discusses the lack of human nature caused by the worship of reason and the call to awaken human beings' memory of animals in their works, and points out that the mission of culture is not to completely exclude animality, but to realize the ecological symbiosis between human nature and animal nature. In the end, the author discusses the multi-state thought of animality in his works, and points out that the essence of human nature includes the pluralistic identity of animal nature excluded by human discourse, which echoes Derrida's animot. That is, human beings should return to the pluralistic state of the human being as an animal rather than a unitary existence. Therefore, antelope and Yangji is an ecological text about the unity of human nature and animal nature. Atwood makes a deep thinking about the nature of human nature and animal nature, and expresses her concern for the future of post-human beings.
