[Abstract]:Bernard Shaw is one of the most outstanding representatives of realism in Western Europe and the greatest dramatist, satirist and critic of modern England. He played an important role in the revival of English drama in the late 19th century and the development of modern western drama. Bernard Shaw's research is also numerous, but most of the comments have focused on Bernard Shaw's political views, emphasizing, in particular, that he is the representative of Fabian Doctrine. And most of the comments point out Bernard Shaw's political limitations and capitalist reformism. But Bernard Shaw is an innovative writer, who has changed the pattern in which the script has always attracted the audience with plot. In his script, he draws the audience's attention with a large segment of debating dialogue and creates a profound thought. Subtlety of language to conquer the audience's times. One of the most important features of Bernard Shaw's dramatic creation is that satire is everywhere, and sometimes it is direct to criticize it, and sometimes it uses irony to give the enemy a fatal blow from behind, so the audience often has an endless taste after watching it. Be caught in deep reflection and contemplation. This paper is to analyze Bernard Shaw's three dramatic works from the perspective of satire, but not from the linguistic perspective, but from the perspective of the theme of the three works to analyze their satire. Colonel Barbara is a fine work in Bernard Shaw's comedy. The author explores the use of satire in the three themes of moneyism, religious belief and criticism of human nature, satirizes the hypocrisy of religion, and exposes the hypocrisy and selfishness of the upper class. Attack moneyism and utilitarianism, expose the selfish and ugly side of human nature; What Bernard Shaw wants to show in this historical play is the satire of religion and humanity, although the story is based on the British-French hundred years War, in which she criticizes the feudal system and the church. But it is also showing future generations that the bourgeoisie at that time was as ruthless and inconsiderate as the feudalism of that time; "Flower sellers" is to mock the hypocrisy of the bourgeoisie and the popular female trend of thought at that time, attacking the aristocratic women at that time, in fact, there was no sense of independence and the upper society was actually a group of social maggots dressed in ornate clothes. The author chooses three very different works, and finds that no matter what theme Bernard Shaw writes, the satire is still the same as the same one. It can be seen that satire is always the style of Bernard Shaw. Use satire as a weapon against all kinds of ugly social phenomena.
