存在主义视阈下的《荒原》

【摘要】:本文在海德格尔的存在主义视阈下对T·S·艾略特的长诗《荒原》进行了解读,将《荒原》中的世界视作存在主义哲学中大地、天空、神圣者与短暂者四元单纯同一的世界,将人类世界之“荒原”的形成在存在主义哲学的层面归结为如下原因:(1)作为短暂者的人类将世界视为被认识、利用与征服的对象,从而掠夺大地、生态破坏、人欲泛滥;(2)人类失去对自身作为短暂者的认识;(3)“上帝死了”,神圣者从世界退隐,人类世界失去作为更高精神与内在约束的关照。本文在存在主义的视阈下指出荒原人获得拯救的出路正是在于呼唤“世界”中“神圣者”的重临,从而实现人在世界上的本真存在,而这也正是艾略特的宗教意识在诗中的体现。
[Abstract]:This paper, from Heidegger's existentialism perspective, interprets T S Eliot's long poem the wasteland, and regards the world in the wasteland as the world of the earth, the sky, the saints and the transient quaternion in existentialism philosophy. The formation of the "wasteland" of the human world in the existentialist philosophy is attributed to the following reasons: (1) as a temporary human being, the world is regarded as the object of recognition, utilization and conquest, thus plundering the earth, ecological destruction and human desire to flood; (2) Man loses his understanding of himself as a temporary person; (3) "God is dead", the Holy one retreats from the world, and the human world loses its care as a higher spiritual and internal constraint. From the perspective of existentialism, this paper points out that the way out for the barren to be saved lies in calling for the resurgence of the "holy man" in the "world", so as to realize the true existence of man in the world. This is also the embodiment of Eliot's religious consciousness in the poem.
