《呼啸山庄》中的自我观

　　自艾米莉·勃朗特的唯一一本小说《呼啸山庄》出版以来,它就倍受争议。各种不同流派的批评家对这部小说进行了不同的阐释。其中,心理批评家们所作出的批评被认为是最具有说服力的。有些心理批评家们运用弗洛伊德梦的原理对其中的梦进行了分析,从而分析其中人物的心理。另外一些则用他的有关“自我”及卡尔·古斯塔夫·荣格的“自我”理论来探讨其中三个主要人物(凯瑟琳、希斯克厉夫及爱得加)的性格及关系。“自我”这个话题,是个古老而年轻的话:它古老是因为这个话题可以说从有了人类文明,它就出现了,并且一直被讨论着。它年轻是因为在各个时代,“自我”的定义各不相同。各时代的人们对于如何实现“自我”也看法不一。但无论怎么不相同,杰罗德·西格尔认为在不同之处,这些对“自我”的不同看法还是存在着相同之处的:“自我”的意识是来自于对“同一性”的认识。对“自我”所进行的谈论都是从肉体性、关系性及反思性三方面来进行的,目的都是为实现自我找到一种方法。本文在杰罗德·西格尔的结论的基础上,对《呼啸山庄》中的“自我观”作了试探性的研究。在对西方文化中特别是浪漫主义时期的“自我观”进行了简单的回顾后,本文对《呼啸山庄》中的“自我”进行了分...
