论《草叶集》中主要意象所反映的哲学思想

惠特曼是美国文学史上最伟大的诗人之一,他的诗作汪洋恣肆,大气磅礴,充满了对祖国的热爱。作为诗人、哲学家、评论家的惠特曼享有美国民族诗人之称。 惠特曼在中国的介绍和研究,主要集中在以下几个方面:1、重在关注惠特曼作为自由、民主的号召者诗人身份;2、用女性主义去解读他的诗;3、从性和生殖的角度去解读惠特曼的诗集;4、从诗人的文艺思想去解读他的诗集;5、从诗人的人生观、价值观去解读《草叶集》。而很少有人从意象角度去解读他的诗歌。《草叶集》作为美国十九世纪抒情史诗,包罗万象、十分庞杂。诗歌除了对自由、民主的讴歌、对性、女性的描写外,诗人还借助意象在诗歌里的作用体现诗人的哲学思想。诗歌中的意象是诗人心意与物意的契合,也正是诗人的哲学思想在《草叶集》中的折射点。笔者通过对美国诗人惠特曼诗作的解读,证明惠特曼的哲学思想在其诗作中的体现。 在这篇论文中,笔者试图以惠特曼《草叶集》中的三个意象“草”,“我”、“死亡”为主要研究对象,以原型批评理论为基础,进行细致的文本分析,再结合具体的诗节来挖掘惠特曼的哲学思想。 论文总共五章:第一章简要介绍惠特曼生平及综述有关惠特曼的国内外研究现状、论点、本文的研究方...
