福斯特小说《看得见风景的房间》中的文化思考

　　爱·摩·福斯特是二十世纪上半叶英国文学史上一名重要的小说家和散文家。留给后人多部广受评论界以及普通读者欢迎的佳作。《看得见风景的房间》便是其中之一。除了其特有的写作技巧之外，福斯特的文化观也在本书之中得到巧妙的体现。福斯特的人生经历对他的文化观的形成有重大的影响。论文通过对故事中几个主要人物的自习分析审视了反映在该小说中的福斯特的三个重要文化观，即“发育不良的心灵”，“异质文化”的影响和“自由人文主义”。深入洞察了解福斯特内心的理性世界，我们才能更好地理解与鉴赏这位杰出的作家。
