对康普生家族解体的结构主义探索

　　本篇论文对威廉.福克纳的小说《喧嚣与骚动》中康普生家族解体进行了深入探讨。在探讨之前,文章首先解决的是方法论的问题。在第二章中,文章分析了《喧嚣与骚动》中使用最多的意识流写作技巧——并置手法,然后指出适合本小说的一种文学批评方法为法国结构主义诸流派中的一个著名分支一以A.J.Greimas为代表的文学符号学。因该学派对于很多中国读者来说还不是十分熟悉,本文在第二章第一节对此作了简单介绍。通过将康普生家族成员带入符号矩阵（1）,小说的表层结构得以呈现。反映在矩阵（1）中的康普生家族成员之间的矛盾表现为不同形态:互不相容的心理特征,针锋相对的人生信条,利益冲突,以及性格差异等。第三章分析了康家的主要家庭矛盾,即凯蒂与康普生三兄弟之间的矛盾;第四章则分析了康家的次要家庭矛盾,即黑人女奴迪尔希和康普生家庭之间以及凯蒂和小昆丁之间的矛盾。在第五章节中,表现表层结构的矩阵（1）被进一步抽象为表现小说深层次结构的矩阵（2）。对矩阵（2）的分析证实了康普生家族深陷于道德危机之中而家族中的积极力量还远远不足以将其从危机中解救出来。正是由于这个原因,康普生家族的解体不可避免。
