《已故上校的女儿》中的人际意义研究

作为一种交流工具,语言可以用来表现说话人/作者与听话人/读者在口头交际和书面篇章中进行的互动事件。语言的这种意义交换的功能被称为人际元功能。人际意义来自于语言的人际功能,是韩礼德系统功能语法中三大纯理功能的一个重要组成部分。人际意义的研究无疑为语篇分析,包括文学作品的解读,提供了一个有力的工具。它使读者关注到文学作品中的社会性和语境意义,从而为文学作品的理解与欣赏开辟了新径。本文旨在从功能主义视角研究短篇故事《已故上校的女儿》中的人际意义。韩礼德在功能主义框架中区分了语言的三个元功能,并在小句层面确定了表达这三个元功能的独立的语言资源。他提出人际功能主要是由语气和情态系统实现的。而实际上,实现人际意义的资源形式多样,它们韵律性地弥漫在整个话语中。正是基于这一点,李战子（2002）扩展了人际意义模型,探讨了实现人际意义的多种手段。她进一步提出了实现概念意义、人际意义和语篇意义的语言资源互有交错的观点。换句话说,某些手段可以同时实现两种元功能。受到李博士研究成果的启发,本研究不拘泥于韩礼德传统功能语法框架下实现人际意义的方式,同时也试图探讨与概念功能和语篇功能有关的手段对实现人际意义的贡献...
