【摘要】：著名的德国翻译理论家凯瑟林娜·赖斯（Katharina Reiss）长期在大学从事翻译研究和教学,有着丰富的翻译实践经验和教学经验，发表过大量有关翻译理论的专著和论文,对西方的翻译理论发展有着卓越的贡献,其于1971年出版的《翻译批评：潜力与制约》一书标志着德国功能翻译理论流派的出现。在书中，赖斯从译者的角度出发，把源语文本分为以内容为重的文本，，以形式为重的文本，以诉请为重的文本和以声音媒介为重的文本等四种文本类型，并建议把这种分类方法运用到翻译批评中。同时，赖斯把文本功能的范畴引入了翻译批评中，认为理想的翻译应当是在概念性内容、语言形式以及交际功能等方面与原文对等，即她所说的“综合性翻译”。赖斯的文本分类及其翻译方法,超越了字词句的层面,力图再造适当的功能效果,以达到交际的目的,赖斯试图为翻译批评提出一套客观的标准,建构总体框架,这个框架适用面广,评估力强. 《在路上》是杰克·布鲁亚克的成名作，出版于1957年，被奉为“垮掉的一代”的圣经。国外从上世纪五十年代中后期至今一直在对布鲁亚克及其小说进行研究。目前，在中国，《在路上》一共有四个中文译本，译文的质量在一定程度上存在着差异，其中文楚安和王永年的两个译本在国内影响较大。 为了对同一文学作品在相同的目的语内，译者翻译策略的选择上进行更深入的研究,本文利用凯瑟林娜·赖斯的文本功能理论对文楚安和王永年的两个中文译文进行了分析对比研究。研究结果表明：文楚安和王永年在小说《在路上》的翻译时都在着力再现原作的文化艺术精神，但由于受到不同的主观条件和意识形态的影响，两位译者在翻译策略的选择和运用上有着较大的差异，使得译本风格截然不同。文楚安的译文在精神上和审美上接近原作，而王永年则遵循忠实原则，以期忠实准确地再现原文信息。
