论《还乡》中主要人物克林和游苔莎的存在主义特征

哈代作为一个在英国传统文学向现代主义文学转型时期的小说家,尽管他与存在主义运动没有任何直接的关系,但是他和许多存在主义作家一样,对于那个时代出现的道德和精神的混乱状态充满了无比的担忧。存在主义是指在19世纪末直至20世纪时期的一次哲学思想运动。它所思考的是人类的生存,生命的空虚与盲目,以及人在生存中的孤独感。哈代的一些思想观点和小说都显示了他的存在主义思想倾向。他痛恨高度文明的城市生活,因为人们在这样的社会中遭受到一种前所未有的疏离感。带着由此产生的强烈的对人生的忧虑和厌恶,哈代试图用一种与萨特类似的道德思想,以他特有的方式在小说中表现人类的悲剧。 本文通过对哈代以及他的小说《还乡》的分析,来探讨哈代的写作特色。首先阐述了萨特的存在主义基本观点,哈代具有存在主义思想倾向的哲学观,接着在此基础上通过对主要人物特性的剖析,进一步探讨小说所反映出的存在主义主题思想:人生的荒谬、人性的异化以及随之而来的个人对自我的找寻。最后,本文还探讨了哈代在《还乡》中所表现的具有存在主义特征的悲剧写作风格。从存在主义的新角度来分析和探讨哈代的《还乡》,有利于更全面和深入地了解哈代对英国文学所作出的重要...
