【摘要】:英国当代作家戴安娜·温妮·琼斯所著的小说《哈尔的移动城堡》曾被日本动画大师宫崎骏改编为同名动画电影。在该电影风靡中国的同时,原著作品也如出水芙蓉般引起了人们的关注。近年来,对于动画电影《哈尔的移动城堡》已有部分研究,主要关注宫崎骏的动画技巧及媒体宣传方面,但对于原著《哈尔的移动城堡》的各方面研究仍有相当大的可探讨空间。 本论文发现《哈尔的移动城堡》中充满了对城堡空间的移动性、魔幻性和生态性的描写,形成对传统写作中的城堡空间原型的创新与颠覆。所以本论文以此为切入点,选取十四世纪、十五世纪及十八世纪传统写作中突出描写城堡空间的文本:《高文爵士和绿衣骑士》、《亚瑟王之死》、《奥特朗托堡》,将之与《哈尔的移动城堡》中描写的城堡空间作对比,,借助空间叙事、叙事空间及生态批评的相关理论,探讨戴安娜·温妮·琼斯笔下塑造的城堡空间对传统城堡空间的颠覆,期待能够拓展《哈尔的移动城堡》的研究视角。 本论文分导论、正文、结语三部分。导论简要梳理国内外对《哈尔的移动城堡》的研究情况,阐明本文的研究方法和目的,并提出论文中要解决的问题。正文由三个章节组成: 第一章探讨移动的城堡,从空间象征层面讨论哈尔的移动城堡对传统城堡的颠覆。通过论述琼斯笔下移动的城堡空间与传统写作中的城堡空间在空间象征隐喻中所表现出来的漂泊与统治、还乡与等待、入世和出世的对立,探讨《哈尔的移动城堡》中的城堡空间在生存现状、生存伦理、生存理想方面对传统城堡空间的颠覆。 第二章分析魔幻的城堡,从空间叙事层面讨论哈尔的移动城堡对传统城堡的颠覆。通过论述《哈尔的移动城堡》中魔幻的城堡空间与传统写作中城堡空间原型在空间叙事层面中所体现的共时性空间与历时性空间、未知空间与已知空间、幻化家园与丧失家园的对立,探讨琼斯笔下城堡空间在心理社会现实、历史观、空间身份方面对传统城堡空间的颠覆。 第三章论证生态的城堡,从自然整体观层面讨论哈尔的移动城堡对传统城堡的颠覆。通过论述琼斯笔下生态的城堡空间与传统写作中的城堡空间在自然整体观层面所形成的动态与静态、包容与防卫、玄学诗意空间与史诗空间的对立,探讨《哈尔的移动城堡》中的城堡空间在空间与生命、生存哲学、诗意空间方面对传统城堡空间的颠覆。 通过三章的论证,本文得出结论,作者戴安娜·温妮·琼斯结合20世纪现代主义的文学背景和她本人的经历,对城堡空间的书写进行了创新,从而表现现代人在生存状态和精神状态上的漂泊、现代人强烈的寻根情节及对精神归宿的渴求以及对理想的人居环境的探寻。该论文的学术意义在于,运用空间理论分析琼斯的《哈尔的移动城堡》,能为该小说提供新的研究视角,具有一定的创新性。在全球化背景下的今天,人们在频繁移动的空间状态下生存,该论文希望能为人们寻求宁静致远的精神归宿提供启迪。
