【摘要】： 音乐和文学——人类两大精神财富，和人类发生发展过程不可分离，紧密相伴，不但为人类生活增色添彩，且是人类文明化的重要机制和重要手段。不可设想，没有物质生产，地球上能有人类的出现；同样也不可设想，没有音乐和文学，人类能够组成社会，发展至今天这样的现状。毫不夸张地说，音乐和文学，既是人类社会特有的一大标识，也是人类赖以生存和发展的一大基石。和其他人类精神产品有所不同的是，音乐和文学之间紧密关连。它们在原始阶段即密不可分，在后来各自的发展中依然息息相关。用“姊妹艺术”来形容她们的关系，似乎还不足以表明亲近的程度；实际上音乐和文学像一把“双刃剑”以两边吹毫之锋同时展现在人们面前，在人们生活中发挥着极为重要的作用。也许是人类社会生活的急速发展和日趋丰富复杂，同时学科研究的分工也日趋细密，人们对音乐和文学的体认和审视越来越单一化和专门化，综合性的研究相对被忽视。这可以解释为音乐和文学经过漫长的发展过程完善了自己的规模，形成了独立的艺术门类，也可以解释为对它们的研究也已经形成各自独立的学科。但是，无论从某一角度看，由于音乐和文学之间存在的特殊关系，对它们的历史发展和本质关系进行相应的比较研究和综合考察，对认识音乐或文学自身或对它们的整体把握，都有着十分明显的意义。如果说过去我们对这方面的工作做得不够，则今天就应该引起我们的足够重视。也正是出于这一认识和考虑，才确市了本文设定的课题方向。为了更好地达到课题规定的基本任务，本文自始至终以比较的方法，在历史叙述和理论分析的框架中，对音乐和文学的历史渊源及其外部的和内在的特质构成等方面作了尽可能详细具体的分析考察。全文除“引言”简略地从总体刊音乐和文学的关系加以阐述，进而以五章的篇幅作具体论析，即：第一章通过对音乐与文学的发生说明二者密切关系的历史渊源；第二章进一步论及音乐和文学与语言的实质关系，其中特别对音乐与语言节奏及文学语言的特点作重点分析：第三章则通过对音乐与又学的构成和实现条件，分析它们的构成因素以及它们从创作过程到接受过程的主客体问的关系；第u章返问来对音乐与文学的基本特征和上要功能这些通常较易为人了解的方面加以平行比较，以求更清晰地剖析它们的摹本的共问点；第五章则更直接地对音乐与文学的紧平关系作交叉式的相互比较分析，以求对二者的基本关系作出更为明确的定位。音乐和文学的发展历史十分悠久，创作实践十分丰富，涉及内容十分宽泛，，对之爬梳整理不但要求大量材料，也要求有很高的理论分析能力。本文作者虽然尽了最大的努力，由于研究起点的限止；在整个写作过程中，深感自己的心有余而力不足。由于时间和篇幅有限，对于音乐与文学二者关系发展的前瞻还未能作出必要的探讨，对它们应该在什么范围内和在什么程度上更好地相互吸纳相互融汇，也缺乏必要的设想和论证。当然；由于本课题自身的复杂性和巨大的包容性，企图在一篇论文中就说明所有问题或深入解剖其中的某个方面，对于本文作者来说显然是不实际的。这只是做一件工作，而不是完成一个课题。然而，既然方向己定，作者将继续努力，抉心在这一方土地卜深入开掘，以求有更多收获。
