翻译的周边文字——“十七年”英美文学翻译策略的改写功能分析

【摘要】：在文化对峙的语境中,翻译的周边文字:内容提要、注解、译序跋等往往沦为译入语语境改写原文本的一个途径,造成读者对他者世界的误读。本文将通过考察"十七年"英美文学中译本,分析其中翻译的周边文字的时代特点,尤以1963年版的《游美札记》译本为研究个案,深入全面地解读"十七年"英美文学翻译中译者借助这些周边文字改写原作的张扬策略,并通过历史的长镜头,将新时期以来的几个《游美札记》的新版本和新译本翻译策略的改变纳入考察比较的范围,从而更加深刻地揭示那些生成于"十七年"的翻译周边文字的时代功利性。
[Abstract]:In the context of cultural confrontation, translation of the surrounding text: executive summary, annotations, preface and postscript are often reduced to a way of rewriting the original text in the context of the target language. This paper, by examining the Chinese translation of the English and American literature of the Seventeen year, will analyze the characteristics of the surrounding texts, especially the version of the 1963 edition of the Notes on the United States, as a case study. A thorough and comprehensive interpretation of the publicity strategy of rewriting the original works by the translators in the translation of British and American Literature in the Seventeen years with the help of these peripheral texts, and through the long lens of history, The changes in translation strategies of several new versions and new versions of Notes on the United States since the New era are brought into the scope of investigation and comparison, thus revealing more profoundly the epoch utilitarianism of the translation of the surrounding texts that have been generated in "17 years".
