精英艺术:神的诞生与隐退

【摘要】: 传统精英艺术的神圣性不是与生俱来的,更不是永恒不变的。艺术的神圣 性在前现代时期来源于自身以外的宗教;当宗教衰微之后,“天才”和世俗政 治权力成了精英艺术的新神。然而,随着20世纪文化的变迁,传统的人文艺 术文化急剧衰落,旧的精英文化阶层解体,艺术的膜拜价值最终淡出了历史舞 台。本文探讨了传统精英艺术在现代社会陷入窘境的原因,同时,描述了在现 代文艺市场条件下,新的文艺观念和趣味的形成,最后期待着新的人文艺术精 神的诞生。 全文除前言和结语外,共分为四个大部分。一,神的诞生。进入现代社会 以来,,虽然宗教之神让位了,艺术的膜拜价值和礼仪根基却顽强地保留下来: 一场新的造神运动开始了,这便是艺术之神的诞生和艺术对世俗之神——公共 政治生活的迷恋。精英艺术似乎总是倾向获得神性,不管获得神性的途径如何, 都是在共同走向崇高。二,神的窘境。这部分有三节:1,科技文化的兴起对 传统精英文化的挑战。2,现代主义运动的困境:艺术与生活的距离越来越远。 3,现代文化市场和消费文化的兴起对传统精英艺术的冲击。三,神的隐退。 这部分从五个方面分析了现代社会文化的变迁对艺术及其主体的影响导致了 艺术之神的远游:1,随着理性的张扬和科技的发展,世界和人自身逐渐“脱 魅”。2,现代大工业生产和精细的社会分工割裂了传统文化意义上的有机的人。 3,现代市场经济的功利哲学与传统意义上的那个着眼于人的精神世界之丰富 与提升的文化概念天然冲突。4,随着艺术与技术的结合,新的美学原则在崛 起。5,艺术一体化功能被新兴文化消费方式和大众传媒所分解和取代。四, 荒原抑或新的世界。在娱乐性、技术性、平民化浪潮的推动下,艺术最终重新 回到生活中来,成为生活的一部分。这是和传统的精英艺术截然不同的艺术形 态。
[Abstract]:The sanctity of traditional elite art is not born, nor is it immutable. The holiness of art.
