【摘要】：传统翻译理论从原文出发,认为翻译只是语言代码转换的过程。但是自从20世纪70年代在翻译界提出翻译的“文化转向”以来,翻译研究重点就从语言层面转到语言外研究。翻译不再只是简单两种语言之间的转换,它与译者的社会文化,历史,意识形态诸多因素密切相关。埃文·佐哈尔的多元系统论为翻译研究的文化研究做出了巨大贡献,开拓了翻译研究的新视野。埃文·佐哈尔在多元系统论中重点阐述了翻译文学在译语文学多元系统中的地位。图里在多元系统论基础上提出了描述性翻译研究方法,认为其本质就是一种社会文化活动。而拉夫维尔的改写理论是多元系统理论的又一发展,他从赞助人,意识形态和诗学这三方面研究历史文化语境对翻译的影响。本文以此为理论基础,以中国第三次翻译高潮中的小说翻译为例,研究这一特殊时期的小说翻译活动。文中探索性的将第三次翻译高潮分为两个阶段,第一个阶段为1989-1911,第二个阶段为1911-1919.试分析在小说译介过程中,历史背景、意识形态等外部因素对翻译题材,翻译策略的影响。探讨翻译小说在我国文学多元系统中地位的变化,揭示翻译小说对我国小说创作带来的影响。本文分为六个部分:绪论是关于研究背影和研究意义的介绍;第一章详细的介绍了多元系统理论以及它的发展。第二章对第三次翻译高潮中的小说翻译进行了介绍,包括历史背景,代表译者和小说种类。第三章试用多元系统理论分析影响小说选材和翻译策略的原因,及小说在文学多元系统中的地位。第四章阐释了小说翻译对我国语言,文化及小说创作的影响。最后一章是结论。将多元系统理论应用于这一特殊时期的翻译研究,使我们对这一时期的翻译现象有更全面的了解,也是对多元系统理论的检验。
[Abstract]:According to the traditional translation theory, translation is only a process of language transcoding.However, since the "cultural turn" of translation was put forward in the 1970s, the focus of translation studies has shifted from the linguistic level to the extra-linguistic study.Translation is no longer a simple conversion between two languages, it is closely related to the translator's social culture, history and ideology.Evan Zohar's polysystem theory has made great contributions to cultural studies in translation studies and opened up a new perspective in translation studies.Evan Zohar focuses on the position of translation literature in the multivariate system of translation literature.On the basis of polysystem theory, Touri puts forward a descriptive translation research method, which is essentially a social and cultural activity.Lafeville's rewriting theory is another development of pluralistic system theory. He studies the influence of historical and cultural context on translation from three aspects: patronage ideology and poetics.Based on this theory, this paper studies the novel translation activities in this special period, taking the novel translation in the third climax of Chinese translation as an example.The third high tide of translation is divided into two stages: the first stage is 1989-1911 and the second stage is 1911-1919.This paper tries to analyze the influence of external factors, such as historical background and ideology, on the subject matter and translation strategies in the process of novel translation.This paper probes into the change of the position of translated novels in the pluralistic system of Chinese literature, and reveals the influence of translated novels on the creation of Chinese novels.This paper is divided into six parts: the introduction is about the research background and the significance of the study; the first chapter introduces the theory of multiple systems and its development in detail.Chapter two introduces the translation of novels in the third translation climax, including historical background, representative translators and novel types.Chapter three tries to analyze the reasons that influence the selection and translation strategies of the novel and the position of the novel in the multi-system of literature.Chapter four explains the influence of novel translation on Chinese language, culture and novel creation.The last chapter is the conclusion.The application of the theory of multiple systems to the study of translation in this special period makes us have a better understanding of the phenomenon of translation in this period, and it is also a test of the theory of multiple systems.
