从勒菲弗尔的操控论看《圣经》不同汉译本的翻译

【摘要】：从20世纪70年代起,翻译研究在语言学派取得可喜成绩的基础上,进入了文化视角研究的新高度。在翻译的文化研究中,代表人物之一就是安德烈·勒菲弗尔。他和苏珊·巴斯内特一同提出了翻译“文化转向”的概念,并在《翻译、重写以及对文学名声的指控》一书中阐述了翻译的“三要素”理论,也就是著名的“操控论”。他认为翻译是对原文的重写,并受到意识形态(Ideology)、诗学(Poetics)和赞助人(Patronage)三种因素的操控。本文将用勒菲弗尔的这个理论对《圣经》的两个汉译本进行对比研究:一个译本是中国翻译界巨匠严复先生在1908年翻译的《圣经》—《马可福音》的片断;另一个是在中国流传时间最长,评价最高的官话和合本译本。本文的目的在于将两个译本作为存在的实体,描述它们形成的过程及原因,用理论去阐释不同译本存在的合理性,找到操控两个译本差异背后的“无形之手”。
[Abstract]:Since 1970s, translation studies have entered a new height of cultural perspective on the basis of the gratifying achievements of the language school. In the cultural study of translation, one of the representative figures is Andre Lefebvre. He and Susan. The "three elements" theory of translation is described in the book of allegations of literary fame, which is the famous "control theory". He thinks that translation is the rewriting of the original text and manipulated by the three factors of ideology (Ideology), Poetics (Poetics) and the patron (Patronage). This article will use this theory of Lefebvre to the two men of the Bible. The translation is a comparative study: one translation is a fragment of the translation of "Bible > - Marco Gospel" by Mr. Yan Fu in the Chinese translation circle in 1908; the other is the longest, most highly valued official and the combined version of the translation in China. The purpose of this article is to describe the two translations as the existing entities and to describe the process and causes of their formation. Using theory to explain the rationality of the existence of different versions, we find the invisible hand behind the differences between the two versions.
