【摘要】： 隋唐五代是中国诗歌史上的黄金时代，其主体唐诗代表了我国古典诗歌的最高成就，是我国文化遗产中最灿烂、最珍贵的部分之一。唐诗不仅是中国文学史上的一颗明珠，更是全球人类文化遗产中不可或缺的一部分。然而在“欧洲中心主义”和“东方主义”的阴影下，在西方普通读者中，中国文化长期处在弱势的边缘地位。本文试图通过对唐诗在英美的翻译与接受的分析，证明唐诗及其英译在长期的中西文化交流中，对西方文化产生了较大的影响，，在当今文化全球化和文化多元化的时代背景下，它为实现中西文化在平等基础上的共存与对话提供了极好的例证。翻译作为文化交流的媒介，在此过程中起到了不可替代的作用。本文除引言和结语以外，共分为五个部分。引言部分扼要介绍本文的主题和基本结构。第一章从历时和共时的角度简要介绍唐诗的发展阶段、唐诗的分类、唐诗中所反映的中国传统文化和思想以及唐诗在中国和世界的地位。反映在唐诗中的中国传统思想文化悠久灿烂，博大精深，是世界文化宝库中不可或缺的一部分：第二章简要介绍唐诗在英美的翻译情况和特点，旨在对唐诗在英美的译介作一个整体的描述；第三章以具体的唐诗英译为例，对同一首唐诗的不同译文进行比较，其目的不重在讨论译文质量的优劣或是译者翻译技巧的高低，而是分析由于译者采取的不同翻译策略，产生出具有不同特点的译文。正是这些特点各异的译文为英美读者提供了多视角欣赏唐诗的可能性；第四章讨论唐诗在英美的接受。并以肯尼斯·雷克斯洛思 (王红公)，加里·斯奈德，斯蒂芬·欧文(宇文所安)为个案讨论唐诗对英美读者的影响; 第五章重新审视唐诗在实现文化全球化的今天所具有的价值。长期以来在西方根深蒂固的“欧洲中心主义”和“东方主义”使历史悠久，博大精深的中华文明在西方普通读者中长期处于弱势的边缘地位。在当今文化全球化和文化多元化的趋势下，唐诗中所包含的中国传统思想为认识当代的某些现实问题提供了启发，同时唐诗在英美的翻译和接受本身就是中西文化交流的极好例证，为实现中西文化在平等基础上的共存与对话提供了极好的范式。翻译作为文化传播的载体，在此过程中具有不可或缺的重要作用。结语部分对全文作了总结归纳。
[Abstract]:The Sui, Tang and five dynasties are the golden times in the history of Chinese poetry. The main body of Tang poetry represents the highest achievement of Chinese classical poetry, and it is one of the most splendid and precious parts of our country's cultural heritage. Tang poetry is not only a pearl in the history of Chinese literature, but also an indispensable part of the global cultural heritage of mankind. However, under the shadow of "Eurocentrism" and "Orientalism", Chinese culture has been on the edge of weakness for a long time among ordinary western readers. By analyzing the translation and acceptance of Tang poetry in the United States and the United States, this paper attempts to prove that Tang poetry and its English translation have exerted a great influence on the western culture in the long period of cultural exchanges between China and the West, under the background of cultural globalization and cultural pluralism. It provides an excellent example of coexistence and dialogue between Chinese and western cultures on the basis of equality. Translation, as the medium of cultural communication, plays an irreplaceable role in this process. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this article is divided into five parts. The introduction briefly introduces the theme and basic structure of this paper. The first chapter briefly introduces the development stage of Tang poetry, the classification of Tang poetry, the Chinese traditional culture and thought reflected in Tang poetry, and the status of Tang poetry in China and the world from the angle of diachronic and synchronic. The Chinese traditional ideology and culture, reflected in Tang poetry, has a long and splendid history, and is an indispensable part of the world cultural treasure. The second chapter briefly introduces the translation of Tang poetry in the United States and the United States, with the aim of making a comprehensive description of the translation of Tang poetry in the United States and the United States. The third chapter takes the specific translation of Tang poetry into English as an example to compare different versions of the same Tang poem. The purpose of the comparison is not to discuss the quality of the translation or the translator's translation skills, but to analyze the different translation strategies adopted by the translator.
