儿童文学翻译中的诗学变异研究

【摘要】:诗学变异,是指在翻译过程中译者通过一定的手段使原语文本中的语言、词汇、句法、修辞手法等层而在译语文本中发生变化的现象。 本文以诗学理论为视角,通过比较分析《莎士比亚戏剧放事集》、《杨柳风》、《安徒生童话》、《快乐王子集》等经典儿童文学著作的不同译本,从诗学变异的表现形式、翻译中的诗学变异策略和诗学变异对原语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性在译语文本中的保留产生的影响等三个方面论述了儿童文学翻译中的诗学变异问题。 研究结果表明:第一,儿童文学翻译中的诗学变异主要表现在语言、结构、文化因素和修辞手法等方面。同时,作者发现,诗学变异并不总是积极的,有的诗学变异是消极的。第二,翻译策略或方法如增译、删译、改译、注释或脚注以及儿化词的选用和句式的改变会在一定程度上造成儿童文学在翻译的过程中产生诗学变异。第三,儿童文学翻译中的诗学变异会对原语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性在译语文本的保留产生积极的或消极的影响。这种影响与诗学变异的形式(积极或消极的)有关,即当积极的诗学变异出现的时候,其产生的影响也是积极的,诗学变异能保留原语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性,或增强译语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性。消极的诗学变异带来的便是消极的影响,会减弱或破坏译语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性,亦或使原语文本的可读性、童趣和文学性在译语文本中丧失了。 本文研究成果对于儿童文学翻译研究具有一定的理论和实践意义。从理论上而论,对诗学变异的研究能唤起研究者对儿童文学翻译中的诗学问题的感知,使研究者们关注儿童文学翻译实践中所表现出来的诗学理论问题,从而为诗学理论研究范畴的拓宽提供了案例。从实践上而言,本项研究结果能为儿童文学翻译实践带来一定的启示,即译者应该在翻译过程中采用适当的翻译策略来促成诗学变异的产生,从而提高儿童文学译本的可读性,欣赏其童趣和文学性,为儿童文学作品的跨文化传播与接受提供翻译诗学上的参考。
[Abstract]:Poetics variation refers to the phenomenon that the translator changes the language, vocabulary, syntax and rhetorical devices in the original text through certain means in the process of translation. From the perspective of poetic theory, this paper analyzes the different versions of classical children's literary works, such as Shakespeare's drama works, Yanglifeng, Andersen's Fairy Tales, Happy Prince, and so on. This paper discusses the poetic variation in children's literature translation from three aspects: the strategy of poetic variation in translation and the readability of poetic variation to the source text, and the influence of childlike interest and literariness on the reservation in the translated Chinese text. The results show that: first, the poetic variation in children's literature translation is mainly manifested in language, structure, cultural factors and rhetorical devices. At the same time, the author finds that poetic variation is not always positive, some poetic variation is negative. Second, the choice of translation strategies or methods, such as addition, deletion, translation, annotation or footnote, and the change of sentence structure will lead to the poetic variation of children's literature in the process of translation to a certain extent. Thirdly, the poetic variation in children's literature translation will have a positive or negative effect on the readability, childlike interest and literariness of the original text. This influence is related to the form (positive or negative) of the variation of poetics, that is, when the positive variation of poetics appears, its influence is also positive. The variation of poetics can preserve the readability, childlike interest and literariness of the original Chinese text. Or enhance the readability, childlike interest and literariness of the translated Chinese text. The negative variation of poetics brings about negative influence, which will weaken or destroy the readability, childlike interest and literariness of the translated Chinese text, or make the readability, childlike interest and literariness of the original text lose in the translated Chinese text. The results of this study are of theoretical and practical significance to the study of children's literature translation. Theoretically speaking, the study on the variation of poetics can arouse the researchers' perception of the poetics problems in children's literature translation, and make researchers pay close attention to the poetics theory problems in the practice of children's literature translation. Thus it provides a case for broadening the scope of poetics research. In practice, the results of this study can bring some enlightenment to the translation practice of children's literature, that is, the translator should adopt appropriate translation strategies to promote the formation of poetic variation in order to improve the readability of the children's literary translation. Appreciating its childlike interest and literariness provides a poetics reference for the cross-cultural communication and acceptance of children's literary works.
