小说第一人称叙事手法在近代中国的翻译与接受

清末民初时期是中国文学翻译极其活跃的时期,数量之多可谓空前。以往相关的研究,可以大致划分为两种思路。一是从翻译学的角度出发,探讨这一时期翻译作品的质量和译者个人的技巧;二是将这一时期的翻译文学纳入中国文学发展史的范畴予以讨论。然而,前者的研究往往单纯从现当代对于翻译本质、质量及技巧的认识着眼,或多或少忽视清末民初特殊的历史文化背景,因此对译者的翻译不忠于原著以及对西方文学及文化缺乏认识颇多指责。而后者则更多关注翻译文学的影响,却疏于研究影响之所以形成的复杂机制。有鉴于此,本文以第一人称叙事小说在近代中国的译介作为切入点,对这一时期的翻译活动作一个新的综合的探讨。在掌握大量原始译作资料的基础上,运用译介学、叙事学、文化学等理论,对中国翻译界、文学界认识与接受小说第一人称叙事的历史过程进行客观描写性研究,旨在阐述翻译活动与中国本土文学传统的互动影响,揭示翻译在近代中国文学演变与转型中的历史作用。 本文由5个章节组成。第1章在纵览国内外译学研究现状之后,提出以描写模式和译文取向模式重新审视清末民初翻译文学的必要,并指出研究第一人称叙事小说译介的学术意义和价值。第2章以叙事学为理论框架,...
