从文化翻译视角论《围城》中文化负载词的翻译策略

　　钱钟书的批判现实主义巨著《围城》一经出版,就在国内外引起了巨大的轰动。该书出现了数目众多的让人耳目一新的文化负载词,这些文化负载词从不同的角度折射出钱钟书的爱国主义和他的深刻的人生观与价值观。作为《围城》的一大特色,文化负载词鲜明地反映了中国文化的个性特征。但是,如何忠实地翻译这些文化负载词成为了译者的主要障碍。因此,探讨这些文化负载词的翻译策略具有重要的现实意义。这篇论文的研究是在翻译策略和文化翻译的理论相联系的基础上展开的。文化翻译是翻译学的一个新的领域。该理论最早出现在在二十世纪九十年代的西方翻译界。1990年,Susan Bassnett和Andre Lefevere提出了翻译的“文化转向”,进一步明确了在翻译过程中文化的参与。翻译的过程不仅仅是语言的转换过程,更是文化的转换过程,翻译等值即原语与译语在文化功能上的等值。这个理论不但给翻译界人士以新的启示,而且使得翻译理论进入全新领域。文化翻译学派的出现无疑给翻译界注入新的活力,它也给文化负载词的翻译策略的选择赋予了新意。在翻译文化负载词时,译者们通常用两种文化翻译的方法,即归化与异化。这两个翻译策略,并不是像很多人想的那样,是...
