【摘要】：近几十年,中国古典唐诗的翻译越来越吸引中外学者的目光。被称为“诗仙”的李白,斗酒诗百篇,备受译者亲睐。以李白诗歌为代表的唐诗被译介到国外,对中外文化交流起到了有效的促进。然而,众多的唐诗英译本里让人啧啧称赞的屈指可数。究其原因,主要是缺乏合适的翻译理论做指导。译者在翻译时拘泥于诗歌的韵律形式,极力追求孤立词语的含义,过分注重译文对诗行意义的忠实,却忽略了诗歌的格式塔质,即原诗整体意象的再造。 本文尝试从一个新的视角,即格式塔意象再造,来分析和解决李白诗歌英译中的意象重构问题。全文由导言、正文和结论三个部分组成。导言简要介绍了研究动机和方法论、文献综述及研究的实践意义。正文分为四个章节。第一章详细介绍格式塔意象翻译理论。作者阐述了何谓格式塔意象、文学作品的格式塔质和格式塔理论的主要原则,并对格式塔意象再造的实现过程：心理实现与语言实现,做了详尽的分析。此章为后面的案例分析提供了坚实的理论基础。第二章,李白诗歌意象赏析。作者归纳了李白诗歌意象的特点和类型,指出李白诗歌意象有哪些美学特质,阐明李白诗歌的英译过程实际上是格式塔意象的再造过程。第三章展开案例分析,证明格式塔意象翻译模式(姜秋霞,2002)适用于李白诗歌英译中意象再造。作者综合利用格式塔理论的主要原则,分别对李白诗歌最典型的意象类型：月意象、水意象、酒意象和剑意象,如何在译文中再现进行推导,演示了第一章所提出的格式塔意象再造的心理实现和语言实现过程。第四章讨论格式塔意象翻译的制约。作者指出格式塔意象再造受译者和原文文本两方面的制约,它们不断相互作用才使格式塔意象再造走向成功。最后,文章得出结论：成功的诗歌译文必须实现格式塔意象层面上的整体性再造；从格式塔意象再造视角来研究以李白诗歌为代表的中国古典唐诗的英译,具有较强的指导性和解释力。
