【摘要】：在语言和文化的交流方面,翻译起着极其重要的作用,文学翻译也不例外。文学翻译在一定程度上促进了译入语文学的形成。然而,译者作为翻译活动中最活跃的主体,角色作用尽管没有发生变化,但其地位在过去的几十年里却从长时期的隐形走向凸显,尤其是在西方的“文化转向”之后,译者的地位问题得到了应有的关注。文学翻译被认为是艺术的再创造,加之实质性的特点—模糊性,使得原本就客观存在的译者主体性在文学翻译中更加明显。译者的主体性主要体现在其在各种因素的约束和限制下在语言和文化间的磋商中的积极主动性。其中,各种因素的约束和限制是通过译者来起作用。通过对翻译实例的分析,本文尝试从文化视角针对翻译的三个层面分析文学翻译中译者的主体性。在第一个层面,译者的主体性主要体现在译者选择何种译本以及对译本的必要删改。译者必须考虑原作的意识形态与译入语的主流意识形态是否相悖。译者抑或选择具有类似或积极作用的意识形态的原作抑或对原作进行必要的删改,否则,译文将不受欢迎、遭到批判甚至根本没机会出版。在第二个层面,译者的文化立场即译者对待译入语文化和源语文化的态度决定了翻译策略的选择,从而导致译文各异。归化或者异化翻译策略的选择都是译者主体性的体现。第三个层面是语言层面。翻译必然涉及两种语言的转换,而译者的美学感悟、语言特点以及目的语读者的文化水平和身份直接影响译文的语言和风格。通过译例分析,本文发现译者的主体性,有意识或下意识地,贯穿翻译的整个过程。
