【摘要】：《圣经》作为基督教的经典,在世界文学史上占有重要的地位。同时,《圣经》也是历史上拥有最多译本的作品,古今中外很多翻译家和学者都为圣经翻译理论的探索付出过孜孜不倦的努力。圣经包括旧约和新约两大部分。旧约原是犹太教的经典,原文为希伯来文,共有三十九卷。新约原为希腊文,包括福音书、使徒行传、使徒书信和启示录四个部分,共有二十七卷,是耶稣的门徒等著述的汇编。 本文以翻译适应选择论为理论基础,以严复翻译的《马可福音》片断为研究对象。翻译适应选择论认为翻译活动是译者适应翻译生态环境,并不断做出适应性选择的过程。翻译生态环境包含了原语,目的语,语言,文化,交际等方面的翻译,以及原文作者,委托人和读者等诸多因素。这就要求译者在进行翻译活动时要不断地从语言,文化,交际等多个维度做出适应性选择转换,从而得出较高质量的译文。文章简要介绍了《圣经》、《马可福音》以及文章中的理论基础—翻译适应选择论,根据胡庚申教授提出的该理论分析严复的译文。本文从宏观和微观两方面对严复的译文进行分析,微观方面的个案分析部分又从该理论中译者对于语言维、文化维以及交际维的适应性选择转换来解释严复的译文。 运用翻译适应选择论解释圣经汉译是一次新颖的尝试,文章解释了翻译适应选择论适用于圣经汉译方法的同时证明了此理论适用于《圣经》的文言文汉译。希望圣经翻译理论研究者们能够对于这种以译者为中心的理论观点予以关注,进而能为圣经汉译理论注入一丝新的活力。
