汉英《傲慢与偏见》模糊限制语对比研究

【摘要】：1965年,模糊理论诞生,美国著名控制专家扎德在论文《模糊集》中首次介绍了这一概念。由此衍生了诸多新的学科,如模糊逻辑学,模糊修辞学,模糊数学等。模糊限制语的提出是在1972年由莱考夫提出的,自此人们开始了对模糊限制语的多角度研究,学者们首先从语义、语用、语法等角度对模糊限制语进行研究,而后又出现了对不同语体中的模糊限制语的研究,近年来,人们也开始关注不同语言的模糊限制语的对比研究。在各个语体中,都存在语言的模糊性,所以,这种模糊性对翻译必然会产生影响。文学作品中语言的模糊性比其他语体要显著的多,文学作品一度被称为“一种模糊信息的载体”。在进行文学翻译中,模糊词的翻译地位十分重要。文学创作具有模糊美的特点,而用译语模糊的美来展现源语模糊的美是文学翻译的主要目标之一,也就是将源语言的艺术风格再现。英国小说家简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》,语言精湛,展现了作者对人性的透彻的了解,本文以英文原著和孙致礼先生的译本为语料库,搜集并分类整理了两种版本中的模糊限制语,对其进行定量分析,探究汉英模糊限制语在使用上的差异及其原因。绪论重点介绍模糊限制语的国内外研究现状以及本文的研究意义和研究方法;第一章通过比较不同学者对模糊限制语的界定和分类,总结出笔者对模糊限制语的界定。第二章,根据汉英《傲慢与偏见》中的具体释例来研究模糊限制语的种种分类,从而选出适当的分类方式为下文深入对比分析模糊限制语做铺垫。第三章比较分析了汉英版本《傲慢与偏见》中的模糊限制语,探究本文语料库中汉英模糊限制语存在的差异并深入探究这些差异存在的原因。第四章将前文结论和翻译理论相结合,尝试以本文理论为汉英互译做出微薄贡献。最后一部分结语,总结提炼前文观点,并探讨此文研究的不足之处以及对本课题研究前景的展望。
[Abstract]:In 1965, fuzzy theory was born, and Zadeh, a famous American control expert, introduced this concept for the first time in his paper Fuzzy set, which gave rise to many new subjects, such as fuzzy logic, fuzzy rhetoric, fuzzy logic, fuzzy rhetoric, fuzzy logic, fuzzy logic and fuzzy rhetoric. Fuzzy mathematics and so on. The hedges were put forward by Lakoff in 1972. Since then, people have begun to study the hedges from various angles, such as semantics, pragmatics, grammar and so on. In recent years, people have begun to pay more attention to the comparative study of hedges in different languages. This fuzziness is bound to affect translation. The fuzziness of language in literary works is much more significant than that in other languages. Literary works were once called "a carrier of vague information". The translation status of vague words is very important. Literary creation has the characteristics of fuzzy beauty, and it is one of the main goals of literary translation to show the beauty of source language vagueness by using the beauty of fuzziness in the target language. British novelist Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, which shows the author's thorough understanding of human nature, is based on the English original and the translation of Mr. Sun Zhili. Collect and sort out the hedges in the two versions and analyze them quantitatively. This paper explores the differences in the use of hedges in Chinese and English and their causes. The introduction focuses on the current research situation of hedges at home and abroad and the significance and research methods of this paper. The first chapter summarizes the definition of hedges by comparing the definitions and classifications of hedges by different scholars. Chapter two studies the classification of hedges according to the concrete interpretations in Chinese and English Pride and Prejudice. In chapter three, we compare and analyze the hedges in the Chinese-English version of Pride and Prejudice. This paper explores the differences between Chinese and English hedges in the corpus and the reasons for these differences. Chapter 4th combines the above conclusions with translation theories. This paper attempts to make a modest contribution to Chinese-English translation. Finally, the conclusion summarizes the previous points of view, and discusses the shortcomings of this study and prospects for the research of this topic.
