缺省语义学模式下的话语交际意义研究

【摘要】：交际中话语意义的解析一直以来都是语用学研究的焦点之一。格莱斯经典会话含义理论的诞生奠定了这一领域研究的理论基石,继格莱斯之后,针对交际中话语意义的解析,涌现出了很多理论,诸如斯波伯和威尔逊的“关联理论”,霍恩的两原则及莱文森的三原则。这些理论继承并修正了格莱斯经典理论,认为交际中话语意义的解析不仅是编码与解码的过程,更是语言的推理过程。由于这些理论均以话语意义的推理为特征,因此这些理论受到了非推理主义语用学理论的抨击。非推理主义理论认为,交际中话语意义的解析是瞬间的、自动的和缺省的过程。这些理论包括阿舍和拉斯卡里兹的“语篇表征理论”、巴赫的“缺省推理理论”、雷卡纳蒂的“自动充实理论”和杰斯佐尔特的“缺省语义学”。本文以缺省语义学及其合并表征为理论框架来分析日常交际中的语言‘素材,以此来详细论述语言交际过程中意义的缺省性和话语意义解析的缺省机制,从而展现自然语言的缺省性特征。经过在缺省语义学理论框架内对语言素材的分析,结果表明交际过程中话语意义的解析并不是如格莱斯及其追随者们所认为的是推理的过程,而是一种瞬间的、自动的和缺省的过程。该理论成功地阐释了交际中话语意义的缺省机制及自然语言的缺省特征,并且成功地解决了语用学与语义学长久以来所争论的界面问题。最后,本文认为缺省语义学是成熟的非推理主义语用学理论,对它的研究会为语用学与语义学界面的研究提供理论基础并开拓新的视阈。
[Abstract]:The analysis of utterance meaning in communication has always been one of the focal points in pragmatics. The birth of Grice's classical conversational implicature theory has laid the theoretical foundation of this field. Many theories emerged, such as Spob and Wilson's relevance Theory, Horne's two principles, and Levinson's three principles, which inherited and modified Grice's classical theory. It is believed that the analysis of utterance meaning in communication is not only a process of coding and decoding, but also a process of linguistic reasoning. Since these theories are characterized by inference of discourse meaning, these theories are criticized by non-reasoning pragmatic theories. According to the theory of non-reasoning, the analysis of discourse meaning in communication is instantaneous. These theories include Asher's and Rascarriz's Theory of discourse representation, Bach's Theory of default reasoning, Recanati's Theory of automatic enrichment, and Jeszoldt's Theory of default semantics. In this paper, the default semantics and its combined representation are used as the theoretical framework to analyze the linguistic 'material in daily communication, so as to discuss in detail the default of meaning and the default mechanism of discourse meaning analysis in the process of language communication. In order to show the default features of natural language. Through the analysis of language materials within the framework of default semantics theory, the results show that discourse meaning analysis in communication is not a process of reasoning, as Grice and his followers believe, but a kind of instant. This theory successfully explains the default mechanism of utterance meaning in communication and the default characteristics of natural language, and successfully solves the interface problem which has long been debated between pragmatics and semantics. Finally, this paper holds that default semantics is a mature theory of non-reasoning pragmatics, and its research will provide a theoretical basis for the study of the interface between pragmatics and semantics and open up new horizons.
